  1. And nobody does anything about it.
  2. It's too easy to fall back in the hole after such a bad stretch. Some of the fans put this on Lindy, but he said something really insightful after the game. Talked about how a team can't help but be better after this kind of this trauma. I guess we'll see starting on Friday.
  3. This is beyond brutal. He has to sell. There's really no other way out. Nobody in this organization can make a difference. Talented yes, low IQ, obviously. The team shouldn't be this bad. It really is mental. They have no idea how to get out of it. That's a internal issue. I have no faith they'll suddenly get it. Foundational issues don't change. It has to start from the top. Sadly, it won't
  4. It's really amazing how low the collective IQ on this team is. Just when you think they've reached the bottom, it's apparent they can actually fall further. I have no idea what the answer is. Obviously, they don't either.
  5. Nice to have a decent broadcast for once. Really drives home how bad Dunleavy is.
  6. Mods, please remove if deemed irrelevant. So, after viewing the game at home, and not hearing any booing or chants on the broadcast, reports from friends who were there have come in. Three different sources tell me there was indeed booing and fire Adams chants that were quite loud in the 3rd. I'm curious what the everyone thinks of it. It seems pretty cowardly to me. We'll all find out on Wednesday when TNT broadcasts the Rangers game. It should be a more accurate portrayal of the mood of the fans. This organization...I swear.
  7. I agree. Some of our dear posters are becoming as unraveled as the Sabres.
  8. You better trademark that lol.
  9. Umm, what? I want the live arena experience when watching the game. Booing is part of the live event. I'm not sure why you'd have a problem of the broadcast simply relating reality.
  10. Another sign of the joy being had downtown, it was obvious the turned down the crowds mics on the broadcast. So cowardly.
  11. You're probably right. The thing is, he has to know he has to overpay to get any type of quality player to come here. They have the $, pull the trigger and ignore the noise. I mean, really, what GM with ***** cares about what the media thinks? Lol. I know Don Sweeney doesn't. Adams just did the impossible and made things worse. The palm 🌴 comment will haunt him forever.
  12. Most of us remember a time when a scheduled GM press conference/media availability held tremendous weight and anticipation. If it doesn't include talk of selling the team, which it won't, I couldn't care less.
  13. Dunleavy is not good but perfect for this team. Everyone here knows what I mean. His fundamental approach is wrong and that's where the problems start. He thinks he should pick out the high points of the action, squeeze in usless info, and banter with Ray. In actuality, his job is to CALL THE GAME. The game has no feel of an NHL event. Even in RJ's last year, he brought through that energy that made it feel a Tuesday against Columbus was bigger than it was. That's an entertainer. DD pacing sucks and his total ineptitude in play description is appalling. Anyone listening on radio is screwed. I know Ray is beloved. Fine. Enjoy him at an alumni function. He adds nothing to the broadcast except the obvious and bro-talk. Embarrassing. Just like the team.
  14. Fits into the cowardly state on all levels. Pathetic.
  15. That was exactly my experience last night. Had to help a neighbor unexpectedly. Left the house right after the 4th goal. Got busy and saw 4-1. I literally thought to myself " last year they'd blow this. Maybe Lindy will prevent a collapse. " But in my heart, I knew. Looked at the phone 4-4, and walked in to see the winner. Like your son, I laughed too.
  16. Time to flip to Oilers-Leafs. I've seen this movie many times.
  17. Amen to this. Had a few errands to run during the 2nd. As usual with Dunleavy, I had no idea what was going on. Ray and his rambling just added to the confusion. It sounded like two guys talking at home who happened to be watching the game. Idk what it is about Duff. He was really good when he started and now it seems like he's playing a character. His creepy smile is unsettling too.
  18. Some very good and unfortunately familiar points. I honestly would rather be San Jose right now.
  19. Finally. Thank you. This franchise never ceases to amaze me. Ray is a horrible broadcaster. Not a bit of insight to be had. Nothing but banal generalizations. Dunleavy IS the perfect partner. If you're going to be terrible at something, you might as well go all the way.
  20. Ray lol. Rewarded for mediocrity. Bulldog next?
