    Good post. I enjoyed many a laugh at the expense of Cody while he was in Buffalo and pardon the expression, rode him hard on occasion but he deserves a happy, healthy life as much as any of us so I too will acknowledge my ignorance to his situation. Had I known, my sentiment would have been different. Good luck Cody.

    There were quite a few guys standing around looking like they didn't know what to do. Nolan stood out to me after his turnover in the first. He kind of just floated around watching the play. It was strange.

    Continuous losing will do that to you. Its like opening up negative pathways in your brain when you always think negatively. This guy has done nothing but lose since he was traded for. As have many of the others. The new guys not so much. Our core was basically weaned on losing at the N.H.L. level.

    Maybe they'll win early on this trip to give us all hope again. For Phils sake I hope they do. I have my doubts based on the way they've come unglued. In any event, GO SABRES !

    No kidding. Thats cool. I'll see another Sabres fan every few years. It happens so infrequently that I'm actually taken aback when it does. My immediate reaction is there must be something wrong with them,lol .My hope is that this team eventually takes its place amongst the greats and a new generation of kids latches onto them. I became a fan in 75 for the same reason. But I'm losing hope that'll ever happen.
