You still can't get you're numbers right, he's 31st. He's played 30 games and if you remove anyone in the teens for GP, he's 23rd. I at least got two people to agree with my post, you got zero. You want to hate all things Sabres, flame away, but I believe most are tired of it. When something is good, it's ok to say it. UPL is good. He's taken on the 7th most shots, so of course his percentage is up.

I'm reading but there's still something missing for me but as you said, it's stale talking much more about it. IMO, Buffalo has some inherent challenges and they've created some too. That's why to me, the strict answer you're debating is, there are challenges other teams don't have. Regardless of how.ni mean you're all but saying it, they're stuck. Id say the Sabres are like someone that ran slow, shot themselves in the foot and run slower. Further solidifying, IMO, the only way out is to build from the draft.

Kid just looks and plays stone cold to me. I'm having a hard time not believing he's going to be a stud.

No argument he needs to get stronger. I just don't see it stunting his growth. IMO, he fits in the NHL right now. I just don't get the sense there's poison in that locker room. I think his playing time is appropriate and he's handling the situations he's being put in. Now if he wasn't growing and sitting games because he's not ready, I'm with you, that's when I'd want him down. It can get a little wild wild west in the AHL too and I'm not sure I'd want him there.

With respect, Benson is exactly where I want him. He's developing nicely and I don't see anything hindering him being in the NHL.

Which youngsters do you wish weren't playing, so two vets can?

I know the puck ricochet'd off the defender and didn't get to Benson, but man I love the kid for being in that position. He's quickly becoming my favorite player.
