Agreed. These guys are bums and i would go as far to say Patrick Kaleta isn't too far down on that list of getting let go, as long as they find another cheap replacement, someone similar to Cody McCormick. I think Drew Stafford would be the toughest to trade away, so i think it may just be easier to keep him around. Rivet and Connolly are UFA at the end of the year, so i would assume there would be interest in both of them from teams in the playoff hunt. And if Goose keeps his faceoff % up, he may gain interest too. Second part, i don't agree with. I would love to get Jerome Iginla in here. I would offer young players like Enroth and Adam, also a 1st round pick, and current players like Connolly or Stafford to get him. But, i would send Vanek or Ennis. Iggy isn't get any younger. Vanek and Ennis have their entire careers still ahead of them.

Not sure if anyone is interested, but i would be willing to unload Jay Bouwmeester... looking for either a C or RW.

This doesn't make much sense. Not all teams that spend to the cap can compete for the Cup. And not all teams that don't spend to the cap are terrible teams. And, the Sabres have had one of the higher payrolls in the league last few years, just not this year. This team needs a lot of help, no hiding from that, but that comment was garbage.

I watched Atlanta play San Jose and they look good. They go out, hit and place with good pace. I really hope we can finally win one but i just don't see it.

Only way to get a ruckus crowd at HSBC Arena is lower the prices. Most hardcore fans can't afford the tickets and our season ticket base is at like 14k. Most of those people are people who go in wearing shirts and ties. Our atmosphere for playoffs is one of the best in the league, and many players around the league say so and Bruins said it last year too.

Very impressed with Gerbe and Connolly tonight. Also Ennis is flying out there. That trio is giving the Hawks lots of problems. In our own zone, most players are doing a real good job and killing any attacks and closing the Hawks' passing lanes. Finally a team effort. Very disappointed thus far from Myers and Vanek though. I look at them as 2 of the stars of the team and both still are struggling. All in all, there is 20 minutes left and they NEED to play like they did for most of the first 40 if they are going to win this game. If our record was nowhere near what it is now, even a loss here would be a "feel good" loss, but, if they blow this tonight, things will just look very very dark, despite their real good game.

Was this random? Just wondering, because last year my division was A Team named Goo, Swamp Sweepers and Tom Webster. Funny how our division is the same 3 of the 4 teams. And we were also in the Patrick Division. lol

I had my yahoo keepers league draft last night and everything went fine. Looks like yahoo has fixed it's problems!

Btw, just spoke to a friend who has been commish on yahoo for like 10 years, i told him what happened. He asked me if we changed from random draft to custom or vice versa, which we did. He said sometimes that triggers a lock on the draft and commish needs to go to commish tools and click on something like "ready to draft" button, near where you decide what kind of draft you want. Other then that, he said, he has no clue and probably is yahoo's fault.

The computer won't draft for us. The draft just got locked up. Not sure why. We just need to find a new date.

No. Not sure whats happened but the draft window usually opens up 25-30 min prior, we are 13 min away....

Re-draft time- I usually have Sundays off from work during the day to watch football but this upcoming Sunday i will be working until 430... and at 830pm i have a money league hockey draft with old friends from high school who we still keep in contact with even tho they live all over the world, so keeping it Saturday would be my vote.

I disagree, in fact, whatever the scoring is, i can adjust because i'm a fantasy hockey nerd, ive played for like 12 years now, but i am just merely looking out for the less experienced people. Malkin and Ovechkin are not worth much in this league but guys like Handzus were fantasy stats based on this scoring. Nobody, i agree, i would go to a more similar set up that we had last year, although, i'd add more goaltending stats but whatever you decide i'm ok with.

Just a question, but what is up with the wacky scoring we have this year for our league? Antoine Vermette, Micheal Handzus and Frans Nielsen, among many others, are better fantasy value picks in this league then Alex Ovechkin or Geno Malkin. That just ain't right.
