Erod and Sheary played fine games. I love KO's effort but he can't do it all given our level of talent and how it's spread. Bogo played hard as well. And Montour is a true keeper.

You knew they'd give the goal back quickly. Three Sabres around the net, none of them covering the guy with the puck. Was that Dahlin attempting to double cover the guy at the corner of the net who was already covered, instead of going after the puck carrier/scorer? Just brutal hockey.

Some teams kinda finesse their tanks. We're all in, hard, so it appears.

And having the puck down at the other end of the ice includes good forechecking. We go thru the motions and teams clear the zone easily. Forechecking is an art and we don't have artists or artist educators. Or perhaps it's simply a lack of effort. And that's on the coaching.
