I will see Stiff Little Fingers in Boston tomorrow. Martin Barre of Jethro Tull next weekend, Jon Anderson of Yes in June, The Hives in September, and I'm seeing BEAT King Crimson with Adrian Belew, Tony Levin, Steve Vai and Danny Carey in October.
$22 x 41 games is $902. Then add in 2-3 $15 preseason games. Up till now $1076 was their lowest ST price, or around $26/game. That's about a 15% reduction.
I don't doubt the pool was small. I wouldn't be surprised the pool was one: Lindy. Just saying Adams never said he interviewed double digits in 5 days.
The Amerks played a tremendous game against a fellow 86-point franchise. Syracuse is not a crap team. They bottled up Rochester at times because they're good enough to do that.
And how about the games Wahlberg and Ostland had? Both players joining the Amerks late and already contributing. You could credit Wahlberg's arrival as a factor in Rochester going on a tear since March.
Game 2 is Sunday at 3pm.
Here's my twist. Melt butter in a large fry non stick pan, saute garlic in that butter, then sprinkle a generous amount of shaved Parm into that bubbling butter. Once it starts to melt put your bread down so the cheese etc sear into it. Finish by toasting in the oven.
