I'm just curious what you were realistically expecting from the Sabres the rest of this season?

This Sabres team has bounced back against the Caps and Pens. If they can beat the Bruins a few times this series, will that be enough to give Meatballs the gig?

I think the Sabres should take their time and interview as many candidates as possible, long enough for Granato to take the Seattle HC job.

The oil biz is in a rut these days, especially for fracked petroleum which is more expensive to produce.

You might want a shot of realism in your cocktail of confidence. Buffalo is a great NHL market and no one wants the Sabres to leave. But....What would the Sabres be worth in a larger market? What would Quebec City pay for a team? Hartford? How about a 2nd franchise in metro Toronto? The Pegulas leave a lot to be desired as owners but at least they are committed to Buffalo. Never take it for granted that our sports teams will remain forever. On the other hand, I read today that the Vancouver Canucks need a new city for their AHL affiliate.

On March 27th, after 18 straight losses, the Sabres were 6-23-4, 14 points behind the Devils. 12 games later they are 12-26-7, 3 points behind the Devils and Senators, and 4 points out of 28th place. Granato equaled RK's win total in 12 games.
