Just don't put any games on NHLN. -

I haven't listened in months. But I know they are capable of good shows, especially when they interview players....JR being the exception. -
Sabres New Ticket Sale Policy: “Hometown Advantage”
PromoTheRobot replied to That Aud Smell's topic in The Aud Club
Most local fans won't drop $300 for a game ticket. Leafs fans won't bat an eye. I'm willing to see if this policy will work. I don't think it will. -

This is anecdotal. -

That's ironic because those teams were blocking playoff tickets. -

The fan base here isn't large enough to prevent other fans from showing up. Especially midweek. But if the Sabres can figure out a way to prevent resale tickets from being sold elsewhere, give it a try. It might mean some empty seats for games. -

I just read the article. So it's okay that Washington, Vegas and Nashville use this policy but not the Sabres? -
Sabres New Ticket Sale Policy: “Hometown Advantage”

So you're telling a STHer to eat their most valuable resale tickets? A game that can pay off 3 or 4 games in some cases? Good luck. Oh, and how do you stop those Sabres fans you sold your tickets to from reselling them at a profit? -
Sabres New Ticket Sale Policy: “Hometown Advantage”

No it won't. Leafs fans have filled the building since 1970. Heck, most of the Sabres Canadian season ticket holders probably buy just to see the Leafs in person. Because everything this team does...does. -
https://www.forbes.com/sites/mikeozanian/2022/12/14/nhl-team-values-2022-new-york-rangers-on-top-at-22-billion/?sh=3922a1e37deb I looked up franchise values today and I was wrong. The Sabres are still 30th in value but they are worth $610MM as of 2022. A 22% increase. Easy. @PASabreFan can only take so much excitement.

I had a hunch.

No one wants to see you poop.

I'm sure Terry ran an operating loss with the Sabres, especially during COVID, but the franchise tripled in value while he's owned it. That said, $400MM is in the bottom three of NHL values because of the market, good team or not. Put the Sabres in Houston and they are worth a billion overnight. "I'll go get the papers...get the papers."

A lot of stuff felt like projects to get the kids involved. Those OneBuffalo designs were not something I'd buy. As for music, didn't Kelsea Ballerini enjoy some success? She was the big star of Black River Entertainment. Thank to Josh Allen the Bills are a national brand now, and most of those fans could give a rat's patoot about hockey.

You're talking about eliminating a lot of prime seating.
-
Why sell an asset that increases in value like the Bills? I don't see anyone lining up to pay $4B+ just to keep the team in Buffalo. As for the Sabres, there's nothing like a $850MM penalty for moving them, like the Bills have. Other than Bettman's historical reluctance to move franchises, I don't like the idea of a Sabres sale. There's no question the Sabres double or triple in value in any other city.

Entire ceremony.

You will just have to stand outside of the United Center and tell me then. I couldn't believe how massive that building is, in every dimension. It's footprint alone is 33% larger.
-
KBC: 700,000 sq ft UC: 960,000 sq ft. 1/3rd larger

I'll bet they could get most of it inside.

Surprised I'm not reading anything about it.
