  1. This is an impossibility. The man can't do enough to satisfy some people. Like after the 4th preseason game.
  2. Came back from 2-0 down in the 2nd. Congrats to the Bears for denying those entitled junior Kraken a cup in their first year. Amerks lost to the champs.
  3. Just got an email from TuneIn saying all the Audacy app stations are also available there. WGR used to be on TuneIn before Audacy decided to herd all their stations into their own exclusive app, with all the bells and whistles that rarely worked as promised.
  4. Or allow local football fans the chance to see their hockey team.
  5. When Krueger was coach, maybe.
  6. FFS, you need to stop taking what is said at press conferences literally. Adams isn't under oath! 🙄 @Buffalonill meant, uhhhh...attendance! yeah that's it! Bottom 5 in attendance!
  7. Kraft Hockeyville. Looks like a vey tiny arena. https://www.facebook.com/westlornearena/
  8. https://theathletic.com/4623077/2023/06/20/utah-jazz-new-tv-deal-nba?source=user-shared-article "While the local broadcast market teetered in uncertainty across the country over the last few months, with one major regional sports network syndicate going into bankruptcy and another leaving that business altogether, the Utah Jazz sought a new way to distribute their games. Where the franchise landed is not only what team owner Ryan Smith calls an “entirely new model” for broadcasting games across the NBA, but it could also be a sign of what’s to come for others across the league." "The Jazz will air all of their games not exclusive to national TV in two places next season, on free over-the-air television locally on KJZZ and online with a new direct-to-consumer stream for its fans, in an attempt to reach as many viewers as possible. It’s a clear shift from the TV model NBA teams have preferred for years, trading in cable dollars to maximize the households it can reach. “If you’ve got bunny ears on your TV,” Smith told The Athletic in an interview, “you can get Jazz games.” I wonder if the Sabres could pull something like this?
  9. I'd rather poach Swayman than trade half our assets for Hellebuyck. I don't see it as a problem with Levi either. Devon isn't starting 65 games this year.
  10. I had to Google that, but yeah.
  11. FYI! Program Alert! Calder Cup game 7, Hershey @ Coachella Valley, will be on NHLN and AHL TV for FREE!! Game time is Wednesday, June 21, 10pm ET.
  12. Are you blackout drunk during games? Just wondering.
  13. And way young. There will be injuries, etc. They'll get their shot.
  14. I'm mildly surprised by this.
  15. Buffalo is 3rd.
  16. I think we forget how good we have it in the off season.
  17. I think we all need to center ourselves. Just a reminder.
  18. 4-0, but they did get outshot in a couple of periods.
  19. The comment wasn't directed at you. I quoted it because I was in agreement. See the post above that comment. We've gone from calling Kev & Don cheap yes-man hires to grudging acceptance that they might know what they are doing, but still cling to perceived failures that, hopefully, will prove ones initial take correct. It's tiring and old and symptomatic of the typical Buffalo sports fan sad sack mentality.
  20. Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated. Wanting to be "right" about Granato is sooooo important to some people.
  21. Folded? No I missed that part. I do remember finishing the season 9-2-1. Maybe you're thinking of Ottawa and Detroit?
  22. So that's what was lacking...focus! All we need is more focus.
  23. I don't see a Calder Cup thread so... Hershey Bears win Game 5 in OT 1-0. They won three straight at home and return to CV for games 6 and 7 up 3-2. FYI these games are on NHLN Monday and Wednesday at 10pm ET.
