I just found it very plausible that Marrone talked to his best buddy, who Pegula rolled over for and "donated" an extra couple million to keep him at Penn St., only for him to bolt the next year anyway. I'm sure O'Brien told Douggie that if he was really wanted, Pegula would roll over for him. If he balked, he was probably fired in a few weeks anyway, so why not get $4 million and come work with your Brah for an extra million or two if worst comes to worst.

I hope Pegula sits Rex Ryan in front of Dom in the owner's box, just so we can hear one more, "Must See! Must See!"........

Yes...that is the point. Fitz went 30 years off of feel, and that entire preseason and early on, he went on instruction. It was easy to tell he was f'ing himself up in the head. Lee was probably the biggest reason Gailey/Nix/Fitz got sh!tcanned.

Lee ruined Fitzpatrick. Fitz didn't have the best of mechanics....but neither did Favre. Lee pounded an academic set of throwing into Fitz's head. The coaching forced Fitz to think instead of do. I knew it was over when Fitz triple pumped to a wide open Chandler on an 8 yard route, bootleg right. A 10 year old could have made that pass blindfolded, and Fitz would have done it the previous year....but he had been so overcoached he lost his way. I'm surprised Rex would have a guy like that on his staff. Maybe he can be more efficient with a "dumb" quarterback, but you have to know what you have, and he F'd Fitz but good....

You could have won a lot of money from me. I didn't take Pegula for someone who would be willing to hire Ryan. Rex's personality and actions match mine about 99%.....although I would not get a lap band, my teeth capped, and a spray on tan. That's the only thing that scares me about him.....he was a ZFG kind of guy when he was at his best, then went all fat guy metro, and has had a poor record since. I think he needs to reverse that lap band, and eat some GD'm chicken wings....... If you asked me 5 years ago who i would want as coach, I'd say Ryan. Now, he is still a top 10 guy to me, and better than trying with an unknown who may have ridden other coattails....but I'm a little nervous with the personality match. The players will love him, but I don't know what happens if things get rocky and he shoots his mouth off at a podium. We saw Ted Nolan have to backtrack.....I don't think Rex is capable of a filter to that level. With Roman as OC.....there better be no way EJ is the QB. Sadly, Orton should have held on a little while because I think he would have been the perfect guy for this crew for 1 more year.

I think Lorenz was very mediocre, but did improve over the years. He said he left willingly and I think has 1% of the accolades Neale does. Again.....ageism.....they just cut a HOF legend who was the top commentator on HNIC for over 2 decades, was a player and NHL coach.....and had the nads to not be PC. I think I'm going to have to take freemans advice and be more proactive in my findings. Harry has golfed at the WGR tourney every year....last year he almost didn't get a bid. I shoot a 110, so I would be a waste, but I think I'm going to go for it this year. 4 hours in a cart with open bar, surrounded by his compadres.......that's worth it right there.
