I think he need to be moved outside. Too tall and lanky to take on guards to get to the ball carrier. He’s probably decent in coverage but he’s no where near Milano in coverage ability. I look at LBs in the league that attack the line of scrimmage and make plays. What I see Edmunds doing is reacting too late, taking a bad angle or penetrating the wrong hole. He’s ok. Maybe he’ll be better with an actual one technique in front of him. I see Poyer and Hyde make way more plays at the line of scrimmage than Edmunds.

If you approach it from the right perspective, it is comedy gold. The stupid cliches, comparing players to cattle, players left sitting in the “green room” for days. Endless amounts of ridiculousness. I’m certainly not tuning in for Mel Kipers breakdown at any sort of informative level.

Sorry ball don’t lie. Over 15 million viewers for last years draft, less than 1/2 mill average for a NBC hockey game (I can only imagine what NBCSports ratings were).

Completely agree. They need more players that know when to throw em and can do an admirable job. Plug those guys into your Eakin, Sheahan, Reider roles. Or even better, get someone good at hockey and fighting. But what was his post game presser like? Did he tude it up with local jackasses like usual or was he like a cuddley teddy bear?

Dude he’s a 19 year old kid playing against men. He’s not a fighter but has the hockey IQ to step in where he needs. I’ll be ok if he doesn’t demolish every guy he fights. For the record, I thought he held his own.

Depends on how heavily they weigh Ullmark’s injury. You can argue it several ways. They should have been prepared for his injury history. They thought UPL would be ready to see significant minutes. It’s an undeniable flaw in Adams tenure. How much leniency anyone wants to give him due to the aforementioned circumstances is in the Pegulas hands now. Regardless, I don’t think Kevyn is going anywhere.
