Agreed. Crawford looks awfully shaky tonight. Did something spook him?

How Dogfish Head makes it twice in the top 30, once in the top 3 of that, while Great Lakes only makes it once in the top 40 I don't understand. I find Dogfish Head highly over-rated. Meanwhile, I am pleasantly surprised at the strong showing by Sierra Nevada; over the past year they have been my budget go-to and I am always pleased with the selection. I thought it was just me who appreciated what they've been putting out, especially for the price.

Thanks! I guess I could start a blog...

Buffalo, NY - Chaos reigned today in the so-called "Meddling" trial of Terry Pegula, with the defendant admitting publickly this morning that he, indeed, does meddle in the affairs of the Buffalo Sabres. Reports of the confession were introduced to the court by none other than Judge Smell, who immediately recused himself for aiding the prosecution. Although an objection was raised by the defense, the lead defense and counsel engaged in coquetry before the bench, raising the tenor of today's chaos. The prosecution then dismissed all charges, claiming any further procedures would be an exercise in utter futility. Prosecutor Fan said after proceedings wrapped up "...my head is spinning...we knew the case was a near slam-dunk, and we were prepared to go to the mat, but now...now between Pegula's confession and the lotion discussion on the floor, I think I'm going to be drinking heavily for the next few days..." As if the events of the day weren't enough, the final moments of the proceeding were punctuated by Sheriff Deputies tackling a woman who had leapt from the gallery and started assaulting Defense Attorney Emotion. Deputies cuffed the woman and took her away, Emotion declined to comment on the altercation.

"OMG, he has pretty eyes, we have to offer him $6 mil over 5..." "No way, I heard he likes to drive Fords. I don't like Ford-people..." "His Corsi numbers are off the charts..." "Will he agree to being on the Green Team? We've lost a lot of traction on that initiative since Goose was traded away..." "...and that chin, totally European..." "...he doesn't even like classic 'Stangs, I could excuse a guy with a fastback '70's 'Stang, or an original Cobra, those are cool..." "...Perry's was reluctant to do another specialty flavor, but if he's from Sweden, we could play up the chocolate angle..." "...he's small, and somewhat weak on the back check, but we've had success with players like that before..."

Would someone transcribe what's being said? I can't listen until 11am.

OMG! I'm saying the EFFECT of KANE on the current Sabres' roster would be NO GREATER than ROY's effect on the current roster. It's not a comment about KANE or ROY at all but about how crappy the Sabres' forward ranks are. The implied comparison is just the opposite of your interpretation...I am placing ROY BELOW KANE the way the sentence is constructed, not to mention the entire context of the post.
-
I SAID "AS EFFECTIVE AS DEREK ROY WOULD BE NOW (ON THE SABRES)". In what English class does that equate "Patrick Kane is Derek Roy"? Because you need to dig up the receipt for that failure of guidance as well. Here, let's try some basic logic: 3+4=7, 5+2=7, 6+1=7; are 3+4, 5+2, 6+1 the same? And, how does one read a post that has a somewhat involved rationale included with the claim, decide to respond to it, quote it, and then add a comment after the quote, without noticing who it is they are responding to?

Awwww, you mean gas isn't going to get cheaper anytime soon?

What's hilarious is your lack of comprehension abilities combined with your desire to write a hockey prospect blog. If my little analogy is confusing, how are you going to parse scouting reports without looking like a fool? Or, are you steamed because I tried to offer input on your site, at your request, but since you didn't like the input you got snarky and I retorted in kind, and now you're going to look for any reason to try an assert some sort of hockey-knowledge/forum superiority? That would be petty, but I find many of those who wish to "report" on things prone to pettiness. So, decide, are you going to follow me around and make snarky comments at me, or are you going to let it go.

I don't know about Boston having the edge with Rask, but he is playing lights out right now. It'll be interesting to see if the Hawks solve him. Chicago had a tendency to sit back a lot during the regular season, I actually did not like them making it deep for this very reason; I thought they played with too much smugness. They are talented and they know it. I think after that first period, that smugness crept into their game and ultimately bit them in the ass.
-
On the Hawks, nearly every player is a threat, they can't just focus on Kane, so that gives him the space and time to play his game, which is slick and clever. On the Sabres, Kane would be as effective as Derek Roy would be now. I assume we're all watching the Playoffs, and have watched Chicago prior to the SCFs...Kane is a soft player. He would be turned into hamburger on the ice in a Sabres uniform, because he'd be the most "talented" dude out there and EVERY player on the opposition would crush him endlessly. Kane works where he's at because the Hawks management understand how to assemble a TEAM, not just collect individuals with intriguing stats. Buffalo has a long way to go before being able to host a player like Kane.

How long before a Bruin injures a Blackhawk?
-
I can see every game this series going to OT.
-
Very stupid. That's the kind of indiscipline that I saw from them late in the regular season, but they usually got away with it. Killed.
-
Awesome! I nearly woke up the house on that goal.
-
He needs to get hurt sooner rather than later in this series. Pretty goal there.
-
Lucic...yuck. The Boston love from the NBC crew is somewhat surprising and totally nauseating.
-
Huh. So, again, the Hawks basically pocketed their physical game all season. They look really good right now against Boston.

I guess that's the last time I try and help out, if that's your attitude. I'm glad I kept my mouth shut about the "design".
