I guess the only thing that's important is the final score, at least to me. I am still interested in the development of the youth, but, there isn't much left to go on. Maybe if Grigorenko plays I would pay more attention, because I'd like to assess where he's at. Or, if the game all of a sudden gets interesting somehow. But...

I practice guitar during games. Admittedly, while I do have them on, they're not demanding my complete attention like when the team was even semi-decent.

This is called consistency. It's old fashioned to mean what you say, and say what you mean. Nolan is old fashioned and it so grates against the "modern" view. Rob Ray refers to "these new generation players" often...this is what he's talking about. Coddled babies who, eventually, if they hold out long enough, get their way because the "parents" give up. You may not have liked Snape, but without him, Harry Potter wouldn't have won.

I think the best argument for Stewart is that he can help protect the kids and has some scoring ability. I don't think he was as inconsistent as the recent caterwauling makes him out to be. That's all I have on him. Goalie. Who knows. The Sabres will need one. I like the idea of running the numbers on all of them and offering the best one a lot of money for three years. Did Johnny Boychuk re-sign, yet? Forget that guy, he's a center... -
I think it's possible they vie for a wildcard spot, but I would stop at that.
