Is there any deal possible involving Stewart where the Sabres get a first back?
-
Tank is correct. No need for the chip on your shoulder.

Who constitute "we" and "our"? Maybe he's including GMTM in that, but the control is coming from higher up the chain. Recall that in seasons past they wouldn't reveal the nature of the injuries until locker clean-out day. You may be waiting a while.

If it works...it was my idea. -
I love it. We need characters in the organization, which has been flat since the Vanek/Pominville days, excepting some flashes in the pan like Scott and Ott. Give me a roster that makes me smile off the ice, and I'll smile at them twice as much on the ice (especially if they're winning).

Well, perhaps you might mean that it's old now? Not necessarily too much, but maybe too much over time. The joke is tired. It's wearing on us all, and I would say most tankers are tired of it, too. You're always going to have your out-liers who are, mmm, lacking tact. This would be true regardless. This is like a crappy season in reverse. We are mourning for the Sabres while the season is still in play, and will be excited for them once the season is over with. I think regardless of this season's outcome (read: our draft position) we will ALL be happy the season is over with. -

If The problem is that the Sabres are tanking. If they were a top 5 team looking at a serious playoff run, then people would be talking about the playoff run in the Girgensons' thread because it affects the playoff run. Whatever the team strategy is for the foreseeable future, whatever the long-term outlook for success (or failure), whatever has happened in the past, whatever the day-to-day dramas are, it's all tied together. You can't, at this point, not only in this season, but in this period for the Sabres, you can't untangle what's happening and try and pretend one thing exists in a vacuum. -

FWIW, I don't have a problem with it at this point. The obviousness of it is obvious. We have all come this far whether we wanted to or not. -
I haven't watched a single Montreal game other than the ones against the Sabres. I had no idea they were doing that well.

Well, what do you know about shattered ankles and recovering from such and injury? Don't leave us hanging!

You need goal tending next season. They already shipped off their number one, and the GM's goalie is here now. Neuvirth will be back. I think Stewart is playing himself into another contract here, even if he goes as a rental for the rest of the season. He said earlier today he'd come back under those circumstances. I don't know how GMTM is going to finish the tank, but he has to somehow, in my opinion. I enjoyed watching the win, but it also reinforced to me that I definitely want them to finish what Darcy started. Pysyk and McCabe can complete the D roster next season based on what they've shown us these past few games. It's a whacky situation, fer shure. -

Goodness, Columbus has to be more frustrated than the tankers are. -

I dunno, Columbus looks all kind of motivated. If they get it together in the second, they could easily tie it up. -

This is me. At 19, holy moly, I could not get up before 10 am to save my life, and I was poor and had awful paying, boring jobs. I am an evening person through and through. I simply can't think that this is any more of an issue than being young and foolish. The dude will be late to practice again. How late is late for these guys? It's kind of ridiculous when they play games later in the evening, and then travel into the night, to get all hung up on being late for an 8 am fricking team meeting once in a while.

I forgot they were supposed to be up until RJ mentioned Pysyk. -

Is he suspended again?
