Okay, so, after considering this awhile, and, obviously, watching games, I am not convinced Larsson is going to be here. Or Grigorenko, for that matter. I haven't seen Hodgson crack too many of these line-up prognostications, but he's should be out, too. Back to Larsson, this team blew chunks this year, and Larsson was a part of it. If we are to pick the wheat from the chaff, I don't see how Larsson rates as wheat after this season. Frankly, I think Foligno is borderline here, too.

I have to say, last night I went through the Eichel videos and was impressed. I recall the World Juniors and remember I liked Eichel more. But this here was a championship for his school, annnnnnnnnnnnd, I wasn't impressed with what I saw out of him. I kind of was expecting him to turn into beast mode the last five minutes and win this for them.

What's the storyline with this guy? Lots of focus on him over Eichel, I would say, during this game. Meanwhile...I wonder if this means Eichel is going to want to go back and bring home a championship.

Agreed. The notion that he was doing what he was doing despite management's plans is as fabricated as any other narrative. The only truth we have is that Nolan completed the objective, and made the Sabres look credible while doing it (which means he upheld his side of plausible deniability). For all we know, Nolan exceeded all of the internal goals set for him. Even Hackett, for all we know Murray said "I don't give a damn about him," and Teddy made it look good. And there's no way Babcock comes here? Bullsh$t. There are as many good reasons for Babcock to come here as there are for any place else, maybe even more.
