I didn't think so at the :30 mark, but I think so now.

I'll admit I think Gionta has been better. I like the Larrson line, for sure, they're very effective. But, to me Gionta is still more of an anti-possession player than not.

Possibly. Regardless, it seems like DD is using him a lot more.

We have a game here.

I thought I noticed this last night, but does it seem like Jack is being double-shifted in certain situations?

Wow, what a change. I was going to say this period was brought to you by the letter "D".

Yay, team!

As Liger pointed out, he makes it hard to love him. When he's on, he's more than lovable.

Beat me to it.

I had a peanut butter Paula's this weekend. The filled ones are a little over filled, but I enjoy licking along the cracks and lapping up the cream.

You can mix it together and do exactly this. Just plop the chunks into the batter in the pan. The brown sugar mixture will melt and spread as it bakes, leaving you with pockets and veins not unlike gold deposits in the earth, except tastier.

I almost can't believe they won that game. They looked like hot garbage for the first 50 minutes. There are two things to take away from this game, IMHO, Samson's homage to Vanek notwithstanding: The chemistry developing amongst the new core, plus Kane, is palpable, maybe especially between Jack, Samson, and Kane. This is going to seem stupid, but this game, for some reason, really drove home the point to me that this team is young and still learning. You can see the reason for the slow starts and other frustrating things is simply due to the inexperience and immaturity of the core group. Runner up take away: I did not like Bogo at all tonight. Another game like this and you're going to have to make room for another permanent Bogo Bunker dweller.

Friday nights are ice-cream party nights at Moulson's house. I don't think they've skated off all of the fun from last night yet.

Not just money, but quality of life, too. Media hours stink.

Oh yeah, Limbaugh, Hannity and O'Reilly tell me everything. You should watch them.

I saw that. I thought it was spittle.

That's because the Sanders "candidacy" is a set-up to make Hillary look A) like she's (more) moderate and B) she's capable of handling competition. And this notion of "seeming" or "acting" presidential is an inverse straw man. Seeming or acting presidential to the public but actually having a different persona in private is highly disingenuous and definitely not commendable. Anyway, I like Cruz, but thought the Bad Lip Reading video on him was a scream:
