Luke's character in TLJ actually didn't bother me. I like a good heel turn. The problem is they didn't make it feel genuine enough. It was too forced. My biggest peeve with it is the disservice they did to Captain Phasma. That character had so much potential and it's like they didn't know what to do with her. They could have at least have waited until Rise of Skywalker to give her the Boba Fett treatment.

This is what RK said he was going to do before the season started. He likes to leave lines together so that guys learn each other's habits and get comfortable with knowing where they are going to be on the ice. Less chemistry and more habit.

Stealing this from Brawndo in the other thread "at some point this season" could be February/March. So maybe this thing isn't particularly urgent. But the question still becomes: who sits when Montour comes back in a month?

I guess we could carry Bogo as a 7th D if we trade someone on that right side? Given the D pairs we've seen most recently: Dahlin - Joker McCabe - Risto/Montour Scandella - Miller Bogo Risto really looks like the odd man out here assuming Joker isn't going anywhere.

The problem with bogo, as miles notes, is his injury history. He played well last year, but how badly do we want to make room for him when he's a UFA at the end of this season? Do we really want to sacrifice some of this defensive depth just to give Bogo 40 games?
