It's not bad enough to keep them from beating a Sabres team that has no depth scoring though. I'm picturing the Sabres dicking around with the puck in the Ottawa end and somehow failing to actually generate scoring opportunities. We've seen this movie before.

Oddly enough, I disagree with you about Ottawa. They might be worse on the back end but they're a better team offensively than the Sabres and they could beat us with Johansson out.

First episode of The Mandalorian was very good. I'm going to struggle waiting for the new episode every week. The twist at the end sets up some wacky possibilities for the story they're going to tell. It's really great to see the legendary Mandalorians get their due. It almost feels like it might have some Tolkian-esque high fantasy to it. Also, it's a Runescape quest.

They're in cap hell on defense. Way too much salary tied up there already. Maybe they'd want some of our pending UFA forwards + Mittelstadt for a forward or two in order to put them in a better cap spot in the offseason?

Have you looked at the schedule? Maybe they pick up a win in the Toronto home and home, but they could easily lose to Carolina, Boston, Florida, Tampa, Calgary, and Toronto. This is a tough month and they're already 0-4.
