  1. Top 10 teams are in the lottery. Incentivize trying to win.
  2. Next up: my thread title. I'm not sure you reassemble a train after it derails.
  3. The children is not being educated?
  4. What class? It's IKP. I am sorry your opinion was attacked by a few. The fact it was only a few and there was no reasonable rebuttal is telling. A careful reading of your post could have led to a respectful debate. Hockey is for everyone, but not all hockey games are. Your safety point is one worth thinking about. Unreasonable? Would you let your eight year old (son or daughter) play in a men's adult league? If not why not? Would it detract from the enjoyment? Would it be unsafe? Of course. Now let's put pi (or a pi when he was younger and tearing it up) into a women's adult league. Do his 9 goals in the first period detract from the enjoyment? Is it an issue with the women?
  5. The original: Just think of all the games in hand we’ll have to not make up any ground with. Yours? (It's not like there's any Sabres hockey to talk about. Thanks, NHL. Thanks, Terry.) Mine: Just think of all the games in hand we’ll piss away.
  6. For anyone willing to read it six times, there's a gem to be had.
  7. And that's Ginnie from Elma. She's great. She also tells her teenage granddaughter who flunked an algebra test, It's OK hunny you tried.
  8. The culture of losing. No reason to be negative, the fierce warrior Ras says. DOMINATED THE STARS raves the Olean Times Herald. We shoulda won, says SabreSpace. I don't get it. If the Bills get in the red zone eight times and come away with one touchdown and lose by two points, no one on the Bills and no one in Bills organized crime is happy. Allen would light himself on fire in the mud lot. The opposing D would not be praised. We wouldn't have gotten "goal lined." Kudos to Channel 4 of all places. SABRES FIND NEW WAY TO LOSE
  9. Entity is the key word. Shame on me for asking a nuanced question. Sabres good! Me like! I can't go that far. The rafters in the arena could easily boast four Cup banners.
  10. The question wasn't about liking or disliking individual players/people. It was about the team. I find the team to be unlikable. I don't have to like a Sabres team because I'm a fan. As an American I don't have to like a particular Congress or Administration. God willing this team as we know it will be toast by next fall. Many will of course remain. Some of them that have contributed to a poor season will be the same player with different results, like Tage and Rasmus. Others will be the same young players starting to enter their prime, like Cozens and Peterka maybe. In the interest of personally attacking me as a poster and fan, you totally whiffed on the question. And Rasmus was dumb and far too often still is.
  11. Nothing about the rest of the season matters. We saw who hardly anyone thought they were and I won't let em off the hook! Are we going to do this again? "Well, they finished really strong."
  12. Not so sure. It's like how they say the meek shall inherit the earth. When the Sabres are good again or God help us win the Cup, there will be fans at the front of the line who never posted snark and always loved them. You see them at games. The older lady with a Sabres blanket and a thermos with a Sabres sticker. I hold my head high as a fan and will rightly exalt in a parade downtown. But there's a price to be paid for being a particular kind of fan. I will respectfully stand behind Ginnie from Elma.
  13. What's the opposite of smart then? If he can't play that style and stay in the lineup, what good is it? It goes to the larger topic of picking your spots. What was the discussion last season? It's a 75% league? That is, smart players don't go balls to the wall starting on opening night.
  14. Ownership learning curve. Cut the lead in half.
  15. Pour some on me.
  16. You lived in Detroit?
  17. Green with envy. Elected to not use the vomit emojithing, which has green it, to avoid giving the wrong impression.
  18. See also Americans aren't divided and the country isn't falling apart (in 2018 or 2022). One thing I've learned in life is that when someone is trying to scare you, they're selling something (whether that's a personal interaction, a commercial or a political speech).
