Cozens wtf. Levi strong. -
I only read the part that was free. I think by definition a hit piece has false or misleading information. I'm really only addressing the part of the story that reports on the 9/11 comment. He said it. If people question his character, it's not on the reporter. Also is there something inherently wrong with unnamed sources?
-
True. But when the disappointment is part of an effort to cancel someone, the speech is no longer free.
-
I laughed at this. God bless us this is who we are as Americans. We all do it a little different is all.
-
How's it a hit piece? McDermott said it. Journalists don't protect the people they cover. Or shouldn't. Much ado about nothing but another example of attack on free speech. The coach wasn't wrong. It wasn't the smartest reference but who said football coaches are smart. Really... You can't say what he said? Hitler had the blimps running on time. Good for him. US airlines could learn something. Ban me.

I get to watch it live (sort of; streaming seems to be delayed about 12 seconds). A rarity. Not usually a good outcome but let's not be superstitious. Kind of a no pressure feeling for me. Pre Xmas home game vs. Montreal should be nice and fun. Loss means little... Would be further confirmation of what we all fear. A win won't really move the needle of the big picture but at least we could entertain some visions of sugar plums. -

Yes. You have to include the app itself and customer service into that accurate assessment. -

Jack Edwards is fine. He's different though... Hope he's OK. But, yeah, no miracles needed. All games are winnable. And can we throw the injury excuse out the window? -

Maybe some day, before he dies, you'll listen to your grandPA. This isn't his first rodeo. -

They tried to shut it down but I restored it. Thankfully the Founding Fathers of SS gave posters the right to open and close threads. They were brilliant. They foresaw the danger of power consolidated in the executive branch. -

I thought hockey people were superstitious. DG needs to go back to whatever he wore when times were better last season. I will fight this. This isn't the chance of the Sabres beating the Bruins in a series. It's a one game battle in the regular season. All bets are off. No miracles necessary. Just a strong performance. Uh... OK. -

After The Whistle Goes OFF On The Entire Sabres Organization
PASabreFan replied to sabremike's topic in The Aud Club
At the LaFontain presser, to the question of how Terry thought having a president of hockey ops was going to work, he made his remark about how there would be no hockey emperors at the Sabres and how there's no monopoly on hockey IQ. There's your answer. Flat management structure. Terry cannot be superceded. He has been and is the de factor DOHO. Hence Terry telling Darcy to redo his plan, the hiring of up and comer first timers, newbies and yes men who owe the owner. Terry Murray saw it when few fans did. Until this team is sold, we are screwed with our hockey pants on. -

He was the first to report that a certain former prez utilizes the foot wedge and gives himself 17 foot putts. And he nailed it when the former SI writer Rick (name hidden due to poster senility) came out with a book. -

I've had weird, conflicted feelings about the other team scoring on the Sabres (I can't even say a conflicted feeling about the other team actually beating the Sabres, but I remember that icky feeling when the tank came to a head in an infamous home game). But I'll say this. If a bad loss to tonight means a housecleaning, I'd take it, then a shower, and run. I know... Terry picks the new guy/s.
