Politics talk lasts for multiple weeks but Gene Hackman dies and it's locked within hours. What the hell is going on with this place? I don't typically like mentioning this stuff, but this one I just don't understand.

I’d be curious to see what happened there. I’m sure there’s more than just the numbers, but his productions dropped slightly from year one to year two after being drafted. That’s the last thing they had before deciding whether or not to sign. He then goes back into the draft and is not selected, signing a free agent deal with Chicago after a quick start to his next season. So his real growth in juniors came after that deal.

He's not. He's a very valuable commodity right now and I'm not against moving him. It would have to be for a very key piece moving forward though. Those Pettersson rumors earlier, that's the kind of package we need to be talking about at this point if Byram is involved, something that will catch a lot of attention.
