Lyubushkin? That guy has a mug only a mother could love.

Honestly believe he thinks the playoffs are a reality next year. Expect he sees this year as too tough an ask which is why he & Granato don't mind still experimenting around w/ Krebs most every game and juking the lines completely in a very winnable Yotes game. Which is frustrating as sin, but do expect he expects to be on a playoff pace again down the stretch. (Which also makes the AZ game frustrating beyond belief. That's 2 points that might really matter down the stretch plus if today's game was an L streak of 1 people wouldn't be losing their minds as much as they are over Eichel getting the most recent laugh.)

The B's 'll be a tough out. But not impossible. But they very well could be on a 4 game winning streak by the time they come home to wear R&B for the 1st time since '06.

If they find a way to get it done on Saturday, they at least can say they haven't been below 0.500 this year. (Both NHL AND this boards favorite the DeLuca 0.500.) Isn't the DeLuca 0.500 what everybody cares about anyway?
-
Nope. It was the take off on the "Ref, you s*ck" chant.

Need at least 1 more of the 2 injured D back.

200 seconds enough to get 2 more?

Sooooo glad somebody overpaid for our seats tonight. Would've been a really long drive home.

Faack!

Jack you s*ck!

Tage w/ his 2nd. C'mon boys. Make it happen!

Not sure why Lyubushkin was so far off to the left on Eichel's goal. Would normally expect him over near where Eichel was.
-
Jokiharju is a legit 5. And he's still young, so he might get better. But the problem is Granato loves him some Joki and insists on using him as the 4 (or the 2).

Was just about to post essentially this.

It would be great to have one more top 4 guy, but just don't see Adams going out to get another. But Samuelsson-Dahlin Power-Lyubushkin Jokiharju-Bryson/ whomever is a legit NHL D and should really help them play around a playoff pace.
-
And their names are Samuelsson & Jokiharju.

And it's usually a local beer leaguer. In the playoffs a lot of the time the team's AHL goalie will be with the team as the emergency goalie. Friend of mine used to be the Amerks emergency goalie on occassion. Never got in a game, but did get on the bench a couple of times.

Totally understand that rule. But if the attacking team has the puck, they should have control of it when play is restarted. Do it the way they do to start a PP in box lax.

Glad you didn't kill the priest. The paperwork on that can be overwhelming. Also, glad your wife didn't have a stroke. Hope it was just one of those really flukey 1 time things and nothing serious. Agree w/ you, it probably is better placed in the awesome thread.

Our neighbor ALWAYS has vote for x signs in their yard every election season. Voting for their chosen candidate's opponent has been 100% the right choice for roughly 1/4 of a century. Unfortunately, they only had 1 sign up this year, so had to make a judgment call in a lot of races. ;)

Yeah right. Fans will see that contrition as a sign of weakness and pile on even more. He might as well embrace the role of heel at this point and pour it on. Is what it is at this point.

The plan had to be Comrie getting 2 or 3 starts to every one of Anderson's to have any prayer of getting a full year out of Anderson. They also, smartly, are giving Anderson the easier games (either due to opponent, travel, or both) relative to Comrie when he does play.

Peter McNabb dead at 70... drafted by Sabres

That trade is the ONLY example of "FAs" moving from that era that comes to mind. -

Well, considering that technically it wasn't even a trade. They were both somehow FAs and just happened to sign w/ the other guy's former team on the same day. Had really liked McNab when he was a Sabre and was really sad he got traded away. One of many head scratches through the years. -
The Eichel 2022-23 Thread: "I'm not bitter -- I'm just interested."
Taro T replied to SDS's topic in The Aud Club
How sad that it took him more than half a year to come back with that response. At least it's better than the old 'I'm rubber and you're glue ...' schoolyard comeback.
