  1. The information appears to be on the financial side. The decision was to scale things down. Botterill did not agree. The decision let him go appears to be new. I think the financial story makes total sense and there is no lying, just not divulging details.
  2. In the hardware community it is referred to as we have too many standards, so we need to create one new standard for everyone.
  3. That piece passed the smell test.
  4. Who said he was opposed to this?
  5. I don’t know what this means. I have read lots of people speculating about this, but I have yet to see some sort of research article that lays this all out.
  6. I don’t have good knowledge of that. I would have said the NFL and their real estate holdings.
  7. I have yet to see proof that this is the case. My understanding is that they have a small concern left over, but many many many years ago they basically cashed out $5 billion in a sale of their holdings.
  8. May you live in interesting times.
  9. Taylor too?
  10. Do you mean 100 days? I am guessing he is hoping there is an open JCPenney somewhere where he can get a new photograph.
  11. I know people wanted to hear something traditional, but Terry was very clear that the team’s finances were a primary driver in all this. The entire PC was about financials.
  12. I think owning the Bills and their development interests are the major players here.
  13. A lot has transpired in those nine years. I don’t hold anything said in 2011 against someone who‘s life is completely different today.
  14. Forgive me for using Schopp as a reference, but how much different is a professional scouting ranking from a teams’ ranking? And if you averaged all of those in-house team professionals, how close would you get to the scouting ranking? I think it has been clear for years that too much is placed on the evaluator and not enough placed on the individual being chosen.
  15. To be fair he was already in the NHL in St. Louis.
  16. Other than Alex Nylander and Casey Middlestat who was the call up that didn’t fit this? Fans have been no less hard on the team as any other losing period.
  17. I would have said the odd couple.
  18. Does Ralph fill this role in your mind?
  19. That takes time and fans don’t want to give them that time. Because no one says it is going to be perfect even if they do do it the right way.
  20. Because in one league contracts are guaranteed and in the other they aren’t. It’s a ginormous difference.
  21. The overall message that I took away from the press conference is that fans need to change their thinking from being a small-market team with a large market owner to back to a small-market team with a small market structure. They pretty much announced that they are changing course from when they first bought the team to align themselves with today’s sport market realities in Buffalo.
  22. But what do you want him to actually say? What could a general manager say in a press conference that has actual substance?
  23. ? What does this have to do with someone telling them the PC was bad? Maybe having a good PC isn't on their radar and any communication of the PC will probably be met with talk to the hand.
  24. What does that mean? They own the team.
  25. Ralph's response.
