  1. Past hour
  2. How things have changed...
  3. Caught some highlights of Detroit on MSG. That is a honkin' big and opaque bug. It covers a bunch of the ice. Given how the top of the hockey screen is often audience/benches (penalty boxes in Edmonton), shouldn't the bug be at the top of the screen?
  4. Why would Buffalo play their games 4 hours away when there's closer rinks nearby?
  5. You're assuming because Mrtka could hold his own in Rochester theoretically, that it means he's not being challenged in Seattle. I disagree. He can learn and develop his offense more, while also leading a team. Ultimately, this is pointless because Buffalo will do whatever but I don't think 43 whl games means he's somehow mastered the lower level because he looked fine to good in a few preseason games. Rochester has like 11 defenders on their roster. It can wait a year.
  6. They could split some time with the Amerks, but it's called the Pegula Ice Arena (and though smaller, it's much newer). Pegula would love to do games there, especially games against Pitt/Wash/Philly where they could get an upscaled price and a full barn of visiting fans.
  7. Bill Maher ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘
  8. I'll allow it, as long as his partner is Bryson. It wouldn't be the worst thing to cut those extra brews and hot dogs.
  9. Unfortunately, Drake Maye is the real deal.
  10. The recall was Komarov, not Novikov
  11. He was recalled when Jones was sent down. D'oh! Meant to type Komorov.
  12. Isn't Novikov in Rochester?
  13. And that's 8 healthy/available D for practice with Novikov. Komorov. ๐Ÿบ
  14. No Byram at practice this AM. He Kulich and Samuelsson are not on the ice
  15. Today
  16. I had to look it up, but 6 D starters injured? With a 7th during the game? If thatโ€™s accurate yikes! And then Lamar to boot during the game? I havenโ€™t looked at any Ravens forums yet but that fan base has to be in melt down mode.
  17. fair point.... I think I am gonna put more stock in the Farmers Almanac Hockey predictions based on the flatulence of live stock... just sayin... LOL
  18. Yes, he's still waiver exempt. So, they aren't "sneaking" him down or up.
  19. The Leafs have morphed from the all style and no substance team to a savvy, structured veteran Berube team that doesn't beat itself. But they're going to struggle to score goals when Nylander or Matthews isn't on the ice. They're no gimme, but they're vulnerable. Math demands someone hitting 100 points in the Atlantic, but with Barkov out the entire year and Tkachuk for half, there are no dominant teams in our division.
  20. Heโ€™s still waiver exempt, isnโ€™t he? Teams play so many games at this time of the year with the timing of these moves.
  21. There are 18 forwards, and I'm wondering if Meyer is injured or has been because he's a weird keep and we haven't seen a sniff of him. It look slike ร–stlund, Dunne, Kozak, Geertsen fighting for the final 1 or 2 spots with Greenway injured.
  22. You're right. I miscounted: Byram, Power, Johnson and Bryson are the 4 lefties. Maybe Mule is ready? That would balance things out over 5 pairs.
  23. Kind of surprisng that Komorov is getting brought back up. There was no need to waive him the other day if they were considering keeping him up. Is there another injury to the D that we don't know about? Because with Samuelsson injured, that would give them 9 healthy D on the big roster.
  24. Wait they already have balanced pairs. Dahlin Kesselring Timmins Mrtka Are all on the right
  25. If that's a battle, move Johnson to Siberia I think Johnson is already better than Bryson
  26. Could definitely see FLA missing the playoffs if they get just 1 or 2 more LT injuries to KEY players. Until the Loafs miss the playoffs, won't expect it. Though they MAY take a step back to upper 90s, very low 100's with their latest moves and Tavares being even 1 more year older. But BOTH of them dropping all the way to sub-90? NFW.
