His stats from the past couple years in Detroit are pretty unassuming but I haven't taken the time to actually watch him play. My initial read on it is he's good enough to comfortably hold down the backup role but not someone who will prevent Levi from earning that spot. This sits much better with me than going into the year with UPL-Levi as our two goalies.

I don't think Levi is eligible for an offer sheet. Some qualifier about number of NHL games played.

Is Adams trying to tank? These decisions and trades are just horrible. I fully expect Byram to go for yet another fringe 4th liner/AHL player. Perhaps Dahlin can be traded for Bob Corkum and a 6th rounder. Corkum can really round out that bottom 6!

To add to this Rust plays RW which we don’t need as we have Tage and Tuch there. Should only be looking at centers or LWers. Granlund and suter are perfect fits: solid Character guys who put up nice point totals - these should be the targets

So far in this offseason the Sabres have cut payroll. We shall soon see if that cut payroll is applied to adding talent. If not, the Pegula business model will continue to strangle this fading franchise. What does this owner have to say? Nothing.
