Yep, this has been the story for about nine years now. They string together a few good games, creep back into the playoff race, and then a team they should beat comes into town for a mid-week game—and the Sabres completely lay an egg.

I was at that one, so for me it was worse in person. Overall, Colorado always had it in them to come back.... Calgary wasn't supposed to be able to do this... So yes, it is.

This is how the Sabres slowly kill their fans little by little. Every year we get that tiny glimmer of hope where they look like they might be becoming something and then they deliver an absolute turd of a game like this one. The most winnable game on the schedule. Bottom feeder team tired on a long road trip should be easy pickings but Sabres have no fight, lose every puck battle, play shoddy D as usual and even quit on home ice with 20 seconds remaining. Disgusting effort all around. Usual suspects all garbage. Timmons really turning into garbage now too. There is absolutely nothing positive you can say about this game. Just pure absolute trash. Games like this (and we get them every year and more than once) make me hate this team and want EVERYBODY fired and EVERYBODY gone.

Just a reminder, friends - Calgary is the worst offensive team in the league...though maybe not anymore after tonight thanks to the lowly Sabres. This game highlights everything wrong with the Sabres summed up in one word: culture. That was a lousy effort against a tired, lousy team and they embarrassed themselves - the second such effort in as many weeks. The entire organization needs an enema, from the top down. Until sweeping, wholesale changes are made, nothing is changing.

I can say this…….Many thought it was great that we had a guy that owned both teams. its obvious now that it is a horrible idea because he just pushed the Sabres aside and said “I’m busy with the Bills now…”
