  1. Past hour
  2. “A revamped 4th line is exactly what we don’t have”
  3. Just throwing this out there but maybe they expect Kulich to take Peterka’s minutes and we all know he’s got a rocket of a shot as well, I’m taking a wait and see approach on this deal.
  4. Maccelli had less points then Doan last year….and is older and smaller Doan is exactly what we don’t have
  5. Kevyn can go take a flying *****. Lying incompetent carny scum. https://x.com/chloewojj/status/1938084331500802429?t=vLz7FoootnAGgAvCW4t4UQ&s=19
  6. Shane and Josh Doan?
  7. Swapping Maccelli for Doan would have made this slightly more palatable.
  8. I think that’s my initial reaction? The deal pretty much exactly matches the concept of what I wanted, just not the players. Beware of what you wish for. 😔
  9. How many playmakers in the top 6 now? That’s ok we’ve got jAsh Norris
  10. I just had gallbladder removal surgery yesterday, so if anyone is planning on organizing a fan revolt/protest, can you save it for after the Byram deal? I'll need a week or two to recover and I really want in!
  11. Kesselring one season and then move him when his cost is too high as an RFA? It’s the same trade as Mitts-Byram. Get one year of a player at a time. Announce the end of EEE and then get a real GM. You want to be a hockey owner and win the Cup, don’t you?
  12. Jeff Skinner is a former 40 goal and routine 30 goal scorer. If having him on your team makes you unable to win, the problem is with your team, as it has been at each one of his stops. If Peterka's future is Skinner, every member of the FO should be escorted from the building for this trade.
  13. This like I’m not sure people are getting the point that discussing how it “could” work are being blindsided. It’s like buying 10 lotto tickets and trading them to someone for 3 and saying “well, one of the 3 could hit” I say this respectfully: who the f*ck cares It’s so far beyond the point. Yes, that could happen. But that we “could win” wasn’t the focus of the trade, that’s the silver lining of a move that’s priority was to save money. we indisputably made a bad trade we knew would make us worse to save money. “they could get lucky”‘isn’t a discussion point. They made us worse on purpose - talk about that
  14. You're right: I don't. But, Kehvyn Ahdahms just did. Yooooùuurrr Buff-alo Say-burrrrs!
  15. I guess now the money is there for Byram if he doesn’t want out. But they’ll probably trade him at midnight tomorrow.
  16. Peterka is going to a team that, per MoneyPuck, finished 5th in the NHL at expected goals, 6th in Corsi, and 6th in Fenwick, all 5v5. Kesserling and Doan are coming to a team that finished 6th last in expected goals, 16th in Corsi, and 15th in Fenwick. Kesserling and Doan both had excellent Corsi and Fenwick %'s last year, but they played on a team where nearly every player did. They are coming to a team, where more than 1/2 the roster were below 50% in these metrics. Logic suggests there are factors in these metrics that go well beyond the capabilities of individual players.
  17. Unless, somehow, despite the EEE and the GM, they win. Then maybe. But that’s a lot to overcome for a group of players outside of a movie script.
  18. Peterka is a good fwd be he is not a star - we need to stop exaggerating 60-70 pt one dimensional player. He has a lot to prove to be a a star - or will be a Jeff skinner 2.0. Would you be mad getting the return we got for Jeff skinner in his youth knowing what he is? If they actually spend the money they have from doing this ( big if) it’s these 2 guys plus another 5 million dollar player we have a few guys that can turn into another JJ in the pipeline but no one like the 2 guys we just got.
  19. The players coming to Buffalo are fine. The acquisition cost is not
  20. “We traded Tage Thompson, but we got a 4th defender”
  21. 100%. They should have built around Peterka, not traded him away. We've made every young player ont his team the scapegoat, First Cousins, now Peterka, Byram has been in trade talks since he got here, and everyone hates Quinn now. As of today, this team moved closer to the 1st overall pick in 2026 than they did the playoffs.
  22. For anyone on here that wants to find the upside of Doan and Kesselring... Just remember we shipped Peterka's 68pts out the door to get it... Not to mention his potential. Dahlin and Thompson are going to want no part of this ***** show by the end of next year.
  23. This has to be a joke. Adams got completely railroaded in this deal. A player who's already a legitimate star and still on the rise for these schlubs?
