This game had trap game written all over it. I said to the wife that the Sabres need to not go down to this team and with them playing last night they’d have early jump and then we should be able to take the game over. Guess they didn’t subscribe to my theory. Not a huge fan of overturning goal. Goalie didn’t complain at all when it went in. Sabres were a mere second away from the puck being dropped.

It’s the call they make today. I think the minor level contact had no bearing. The goalie was ready and just got beat.

3 points: 1. He was pushed towards the crease and made every effort to escape 2. He entered the crease by a sliver, goalie instigated contact 3. Even if you don’t agree with the first or second, the goalie has at least 2 seconds to reset before Dahlin shoots it. It’s nothing but a soft ticky tack call that apparently only Buffalo can be at fault for.

They sucked that period. I’d rather be down 2 than 1. They’ll play better this period.

They gaslight for the Sabres for their competence against fan sentiments. They almost always agree with the league on calls and yet we never get the same benefit from the league

Duff is the biggest gaslighter out there for the Sabres. Marty is more objective. Tough call but not the biggest gripe fans should have.

He was pushed towards the goalie from behind; you’d have to be blind not to see that.

He was in the crease. He wasn’t pushed. It was goaltender interference as per the rule. It was the right call.
