apuszczalowski
Check the trailer parks, Tornados always like to hit them first! LAst update I heard, it wasn't a tornado, it was the new logo charging into town!

RayFinkle
I'm not really an overly sensitive guy but I really doubt this was meant to be a haha thread. A lot of concerned out of towners are out here including me.
PASabreFan
Good point, Ray. So I won't say there was a touchdown in Orchard Park, but we were holding. :) Seriously, it doesn't seem like it was that big a deal. Scary, but only a few minor injuries. LabattBlue
19 years after the Holiday Showcase restaurant was flattened by a tornado, another one touches down right around the corner from this location.
Bmwolf21
My wife & I were travelling into WNY from Ohio and missed being in the middle of that mess by about 20 minutes...this is probably the only time I am thankful that I had to stop at a tollbooth - the lines were so backed up that it took us almost ten minutes to get our official Thruway Authority toll ticket, and then a brief bathroom break at the Angola rest stop kept us from bieng in the thick of the storm. My brother works at a UPS warehouse around that area, and him & his coworkers saw the funnel forming and touchdown...traffic was an absolute nightmare after that tractor trailer was whipped across the interstate. PTS
I heard the tornado hit the Sabres new logo. It blew the swords away and ripped the Buffalo in half.
