She used to live in the Whitmore Park area behind The Keg restaurant on Albert St. near Gordon. I sure do miss the food at Earl's restaurant. I live way up in the northwest end of town, so I never go to it though. Â Not a lot of Sabres fans out here. When Curtis Brown and Rhett Warrener played for the Buff, I saw a few fans who knew those guys. Most Sabre fans out here are guys about my age who became fans in the french connection era. My wife even took me to a Roughriders game once. That was a lot of fun, especially watching the little prairie dog clanging the signs together to rile up the homecrowd. What a small world. Rabbit151 Posted May 18, 2006 Report Share Posted May 18, 2006 If you think the gopher is funny, you should see when they grab a kid ( usually about 5 or 6 yrs. old ) out of the crowd to kick the crap out of the other team's mascot on the field. Â Even my 7 year old daughter gets fired up, she was very bitter they didn't get her to beat on the stuffed tiger that was meant to represent Hamilton's team.
