The recent spate of rhetoric, passive aggressiveness, and personal attacks has sealed the deal for me. So I am asking the rest of you for your input. I think what is happening in this club does not provide benefit to the overall forum as a whole and only serves to provide an additional pathway to negativity. The Sabres have provided enough of that on their own. I am traveling a lot this month and will barely be around to moderate. It's clear that despite repeated messages the intent to lower the flames here has failed. This has resulted in my decision to stop moderating this club. I will place a poll for people to determine the future. At the end of this week, by Friday morning, my interactions with this club will be over.

Shortly after, the overt calling for the U.S. to “burn” down and advocation of people suffering to achieve a political/ideological goal. Whether in agreement or not this club has documented statements of a radicalized nature within less than a year of the current POTUS election. Shut it down.

Shut it down, but it really makes no difference one way or the other as the same small handful of participants really doesn’t do anything to further discussion anyway. It’s all an exercise in futility and a microcosm of where we are as a country. But thanks for taking the time and making the effort to moderate nonetheless.
