PerreaultForever Posted 19 hours ago Report Posted 19 hours ago Are the extra games late season meaningless ones? Cause if they are we might win them. If they start earlier probably 2 more losses. Quote
BullBuchanan Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago Yea, that's what the NHL needed, MORE regular season games. Glad we finally got that sorted. My favorite hockey seasons have always been the years when they had halved length seasons. Quote

And personally loved the idea that players will have to physically report to the farm club until getting to that part about also having to play in at least one game. Thought for, literally less than a moment, that there was finally a change in policy in the NHL that would actually benefit the Sabres. They could have a player in Rochester and back within 3 hours if he doesn't check his speedometer too closely and doesn't hit bad traffic/roadwork along the way. Quote

I wonder what the definition of report will be. You just know at the moment the Sabres really need to do something, the Amerks will be playing in California (do they actually go out there?). That’s what actually surprises me if they’re would force them to play in a game: 1) There may not be a game for a while, and 2) the travel inequities from team to team are really big. Quote
