We'd likely have a cash strapped mediocre Sabres team that never tanked and still holds to Vanek and company praying for something good to happen. And the Bills would be in Toronto, so while you may think he's a bad owner, at least we have an owner who will keep the teams here and with deep pockets to boot.

Our opponents were all playoff teams, except the Kings, who are 17th overall.

 

Seven games are a small sample size, but those numbers definitely show a different team than what we saw in October and November.

Flagg pointed it out in another thread too, our schedule is much easier this month. We need, and should, take advantage of the next 6 games to really get some points back

with Eichel: 1,29 points per Game. Over 82 games: 105,43 points

without Eichel: 0,90 points per Game. Over 82 games: 74,19 points

 

granted that will go down but still.... To say Eichel's injury is no excuse is ridiculous.

With the Sabres needing 60% of remaining points to hit the magical 93 and make the playoffs, this 64% with Eichel is good but...
