PromoTheRobot
http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=303301 I don't know what they charge and how they compare to Sabres prices but I was surprised to read this. Then again Ottawa has a terrible record supporting pro teams. If a city twice the size of Hamilton can't support an NHL team why are they even squawking about adding a 7th Canadian franchise? LabattBlue
I give the Senators FO credit for going above and beyond the norm... end the curse
I think this is really a smart move by the Sens front office. The fans are still rabid in Ottawa, but a bad economy, packed in games due to the Olympics, vacations to Florida, and the typical holiday expenses that cause household disposable cash to shrink this time of year all create the perfect storm for weak attendance. This is reality, and the Sens are smart enough to get ahead of the problem.

Sabre Dance
Move Ottawa to Quebec City, move the Coyotes back to Winnepeg. There you go...problem solved.
PASabreFan
Move Ottawa to Quebec City, move the Coyotes back to Winnepeg. There you go...problem solved. Using this logic, where do the Sabres go? Didn't they give aways tickets to a recent game?

No, move Atlanta to Quebec if you like, but leave the Sens in Ottawa right where they belong. Let's not get carried away, they are 13th in the NHL in attendance.
