Crestwood Posted December 23, 2008 Report Share Posted December 23, 2008 Liked the pace of the second period much better, though Buffalo got pretty sloppy in the middle 10 minutes or so and let Pittsburgh back into the game. Nice to see Kotalik get in on the scoring; he always seems to get overly confident and take more shots once he's scored. Two telling stats: Crosby and Malkin still with one shot between them ... Have to take advantage of the opportunities with the man-advantage, especially at home. We are hanging with a superior team, just like Saturday night. Can't take the foot off their neck though. Put them away in the third. Done with them for the regular season then. Poor scheduling again by the NHL, but works in our favor. So, thanks stupid Gary. Witnessed the worst of our PP on the 12th against the Leafs. Otherwise our production is good. PK is impressive as well. I believe the sched is computer generated. I don't think the NHL makes the most out of the schedule as they should. Stupid Gary is in charge, so he gets the heat.
