I am about 80 % percent sure that they have two deals on the table for Max and are just waiting for their first choice to say go. Here I assumed they would leap at the first offer on the table (or hoped they would) so I'm shocked they think they can drive the price up. It'll be interesting to see what he can do. It'll also be interesting to see what Jody Gage ends up doing now that he isn't running the Kin-ig-hit Hawks anymore. Not sure what exactly an AHL GM does on a team that doesn't supply any of the on-ice talent nor any of the coaches. But whatever it is that he does, Styres thought he was stretched too thin running 3 teams. I guess now he can full time run the outdoor lax team, as I can't see not evaluating hockey players or coaches taking up that much time.
