Everything that has been done trying to build this team. Hiring poor GMs and coaches.....only giving them 2-3 years. Bad trades, bad drafting. Making a place where no one wants to be......is that enough to start for you?

if they finish last the next 2 years the fan base will be pretty much gone. Lottery rules are also changing so less of a chance to get 1st pick

I credit those looking for positives but I think you're reaching. There is nothing good going on here. If you were a fan of another team you would be laughing at the Sabres right now. Thinking that this time will be better, I think is misguided. Everything has been handled poorly.

you can't just rely on young draft picks to build your team. Veteran free agents help the younger players.
