  1. UPL is starting to make it "having a walrus in goal" easy.
  2. It's like having TWO Josh Allens on your team. How can anyone stop THAT?
  3. The team is working hard, playing good defense, and the scoring is waking up. They beat a run-and-gun team last time, they beat a grind-out-out team tonight. With UPL in goal they wan win any given game. With UPL in goal they can win every game.
  4. It doesn't matter. It's Kevyn's responsibility. It's his duty. It's part of his job description, not Donny's.
  5. Do we know this? Or did Adams just tell DG, "here are your 3 candidates -- do as you like?" Even if Adams abdicated his decision to Donny, it was still his responsibility and his call to make.
  6. 1 more than the 9th place team. If you assume that the team in 8th place now represents the pace, that would be 91 points. If the Sabres get 92 I think they will get in. To get 92, the Sabres would need to get 77% of the position points available to them between now and the end of the season.... so 10-2-3?
  7. I just want the Sabres to finish ahead of the Red Wings so I tell my wife that Kevynergy is beating the Yzerplan.
  8. Kevyn gave Donny three goalies to juggle. Bad move.
  9. I still think Tage has a problem with his wheels. It's not major but it hurts his burst.
  10. It's an MSG thing. Bally and Root allow the pre-post games to be shone. It's probably something in the contract between the feed provider and ESPN.
  11. When they squeak into 8th place at the end, it will make sense.
  12. Oopie stoned them, to their souls.
  13. Serious phantom penalties tonight.
  14. It looked like Luuk got a piece of that shot before it hit the post!
  15. Shoulda called one for embellishment too. I'm guessing Luuk likes it too.
  16. Thompson with a good effort to rush the shooter.
  17. That became the tagline used by the local HS football highlights show in 2003 when the high school my son went to, which had never done better than 4-6 in their history, squeaked into the playoffs at 6-4 and ran the table to win the state championship. Every week when they got to covering the school they'd always say, "Who are these guys?" (My son didn't play football; he played clarinet in the marching band, but I still had to go to all the games.)
