Okay but the decision's been made. It's be great if everyone would stop whining about it.

Very mild in north Texas: mid-50s, sunny. We had quite a bit of rain heading into Christmas Eve but the rain stopped during the day on the 24th and it's been mild, cool and sunny ever since.

Also, as long as it doesn't violate the rules as written (including interpretation of the spirit of the rules), it's probably fine. I could see where the league may disallow, for instance, product with graphics (similar to how they've banned rainbow tape) that might be viewed as an endorsement of something the league wants to not make a statement about, or if the graphics would obscure the puck. Psych! 😄

I think all the hand-wringing about whether Benson should have played in the WJC is moot at this point. But I also expect certain Sabrespacers to harp on about it for weeks, maybe even months.

It's grown on me a bit, but I've spent much of my life hating that song. As a disinterested party, I kind of thought it was creepy too. Or cringey at least.

Ryan Johnson keeps making plays you just don't expect such an inexperienced player to make. Plays that, if he misses them, will result in a break the other way, but he never misses them. He continues to impress.

This touches on something I posted in the Columbus GDT: The mechanism is different; I mentioned a players only meeting; you said the young core needs to step up. But the idea is the same. I think the other player that should be mentioned in terms of leadership is Casey Mittelstadt. I think Mitts is already hugely influential with the players. But yeah, they need to take control.

I have no idea what the Whiner Line is, so.... (Remember, I haven't lived in Buffalo for 4 decades.)
