Good trade, GMKA has given me a little more hope than I had before today. We're still too deep with prospects though and would like to see another trade involving Joki and some forward prospects for a proven RHD and/or top 6 guy.

Is Daniel Sprong available as a UFA? Is he worth a look?

Just listened to the press conference....GMKA isn't qualified to even be the GM of an AHL team. Pegula is the absolute most incompetent owner in the entire league....it's not about winning to him, but rather him trying to prove he's the smarter than everybody else. Somebody in WNY politics needs to create a new law to force an incompetent sports team owner to have to sell the team if the public votes demand it.

They have 2 superstars and an up and coming young coach. They also have productive vets, a newer arena and almost won a Stanley cup. Buffalo has......????

He needs to stop his smiling….put on a game face (if he even has one) and stop acting like he’s the head of a country club. His demeanor makes it hard for me to take him serious. Seriously though…if he continues to “try” but not succeed in changing this team….there is no choice but to fire him….get somebody who can close a deal. Not a fan of participation trophies….but Pegula won’t do this.

IMHO - GMKA is too constipated to $hit in the bed. He needs a laxative in order to make enough creative change to improve this team.

I don't care who the messenger is (ex. Peters). I do tend to believe there is some truth to the sentiment. Either GMKA overvalues his assets and other teams don't waste their time dealing with him or something else....but his record speaks for itself and there has not been enough change for the good.

I'm inclined to believe that he'll finally be on a playoff team next season.....not on Buffalo of course! Another ex-Sabre who will find better team success after leaving Buffalo.

I would like to see your 5 boxes filled as well....however I fear GMKA only wants 1 more center and will keep Skinner (leaving 3 boxes). I also think he'll roll with Joki and not pursue another RHD....that leaves 2 boxes. I don't count Eric Johnson type signings as filling the box....but GMKA may differ.

Is this guy several years away or is he sturdy enough to leapfrog some of our other older (but lighter) prospects (ex. Rosen, Östlund, etc.)?

Adams is simply not GM material. His interactions with the media are such that he tries to come across as a nice guy who doesn’t exert any authority or confidence. He’s like a kid trying to get along with everybody vs. being a strong and stern adult. He needs to show a more mature and frankly mean disposition to be taken seriously.

IDK, feels more like they could not get an existing NHL player to come here. Agree they have to do something, but it doesn’t mean they will actually get it done

Feels more likely to me that Skinner is going to be back. GMKA didn’t trade the 14OA pick and he still needs players.

I was skeptical already, but am even more convinced that Buffalo does nothing to improve the team immediately this weekend. They’ll tease us that they will focus on free agents, but nobody wants to come to Buffalo.

And of course the Wings pick someone that GMKA should have taken
