  1. I can’t tell if this reply post is just trolling.
  2. I’m largely unfamiliar with Sabres Twitter. Those memes with the laser eyes had me chortling.
  3. I appreciate @Spoonman’s shift by shift review. I think I’m with @North Buffalo: That was a solid showing by a promising prospect, but let’s not get carried away. I loved his quick turn up ice so he could outlet to Dahlin (??!!) and of course his breakup of the 2 on 1. Beyond that, he struck me as mostly neutral - which is great news, under the circumstances.
  4. Almost on cue, Skinner had a shift with 4 atrocious passes.
  5. Encouraged by Power, of course, but I think we all know the old story about a young phenom who is a house of fire in the first *whatever* games, and then comes the actual adjustment arc. Hey - who knows.
  6. Bryson and Fitz as a pair have my anal sphincter feeling some type of way.
  7. Was he playing the right side when he made that play??
  8. (I saw the report this week that Dahlin sort of expects to play the right side - perhaps with Muel.)
  9. Dunleavy called it as Dahlin - I thought it was 25!!
  10. With apologies to @The Ghost of Yuri (i think), I’m going to have to revisit my take that Skinner is a below average passer. I still don’t think he’s consistently good, but I think he’s probably serviceable.
  11. I like the thought project. However, if the Bills load up on young talent in this draft, they’ll be “rewarded” by having their Practice Squad plundered.
  12. I have a favour to ask: I’d love to have 2 or 3 YouTube links of Granato pressers to send to a coach I’ve recently met who presumably knows nothing about Don Granato, but is nonetheless cut from the same cloth, working on a similar vibe and path. If there’s one (or more) Granato pressers that stick out in your mind, please post ‘em here.
  13. He's in the sports entertainment business. It's his job to stir the pot, drive clicks and views. I find him pretty good at what he does - talk in an entertaining way about hockey and all things hockey adjacent. He's a colourful guy.
  14. Starting a couple years back, I got on a path in life where I have consciously abandoned giving a rat's ass about things that happened in the past that don't help me be happy, better, etc. in my life today. So, there's a lot of stuff that happened in the past that I do hang on to, think about, take joy or pride in, try to learn from. And then there's a lot of stuff that happened in the past that doesn't do anything but make me unhappy.
  15. The take was that no other fan base justifies losses like Sabre fans. I wasn’t seeing it in this instance, atoll.
  16. Weird take. The Sabres are an improved team on a good path that got trucked by one of the league’s top teams. It happens.
