As a recovering Krebs supporter: I think people like him more than his game warrants because he looks the part. I mean he really looks the part. Great post. I appreciate it. I clicked through on that YouTube link. The song started playing. The video started ... playing. And I was like "holy sh1t - this song SUCKS." (Very much NOT my cuppa.) But then that hook came around ... and I was like OH DAMN THAT'S WHERE IT'S FROM?!?!?!

I don't stream. I try like hell to avoid taste-predictive algorithms. I still look for new music (in an ad hoc, hunt and peck sort of way). And I enjoy listening to familiar material. I find that bringing intention as the listener is essential to appreciating music. And I find that buying the music that I want to listen to helps me have that intention.

I guess not? I'm probably not up to speed enough to play along here. I did find JFresh's "3" WAR rating for Byram to be shockingly low. But that's an account that has explanations for its #fancystats.

Here are some of my outside influences setting expectations? I love the Jfresh cards. I don't understand them, for the life of me. They're pretty to look at though. And they seem to have a rational basis for the numbers they offer.
