I just read an article that the Canadians were considering making an offer to Brayden Point instead of Aho. I wonder if Botts be wise to make him an offer while Aho is still in limbo?

I still lamenting trading a quality prospect Craig Millar for some guy named Satan.

Dallas could be scary and if Aho goes to Montreal it definitely hurts the Canes a lot.

I'm expecting him to get a similar contract to Timo Meier got which about $6 mil with 4 seasons, too bad we don't have a 3rd to offer sheet him.

Ryan Dzingel hasn't signed either, I'd welcome him as 2nd line player.

My point being let's not anoint Dahlin the next great one after one season, I agree he played great but so did Myers yet he ultimately didn't live up to the expectations after his first great (two) season(s).

Valid argument, one only has to bring up Tyler Myers as an example.

I posted in earlier in the thread that I'd even be for trading for Zucker and sign someone like Dzingel as at least give us possibly more long term success.

One could hope as hate losing Risto but to get two 30 potential goal scorers is worth it. Both under 30 too.

RNH be a nice #2C with him only under contract the next two seasons yet I'd ask Edmonton for something else instead of Russell.

Anyone think we could sign Dzingel, trade for Zucker and bring back Pomers? As think reuniting Jason on the top line and putting Sam on a 2nd line with Zucker and Dzingel feels good to me as a top 6.

I don't see any snipers in the pipeline and toss in he has some size he could be a good 2nd liner to pair up with Mittlestadt if Sammy leaves as an UFA in a few years. Boldy's been compared to Mark Stone which is something we surely lack.

Don't dismiss Matthew Boldy.

I've been on the Skinner bandwagon since there was talk he could be moved two years ago. I think this was a great trade, assuming we re-sign him. It definitely makes up for losing ROR. In terms of Pu he was great two seasons ago but his production fell off last year and the other draft picks pfft usually any pick in a draft after the top 3-5 is a question mark so don't think we gave up too much despite so many picks.
