  1. Good post.

Adams plan is in motion.    It's tough to be patient considering the past 13 years, but he's building the team the right way.

This season has been a painful lesson for this young squad.    After a red hot second half last season, some regression was expected... add in some key injuries plus a young over-confident roster.... and we end up here.

Playoffs are never a guarantee, it requires a commitment and discipline both on and off the ice over the course of the entire season, not just in spurts.    These kids are learning that lesson, but as fans of this franchise it's painful and frustrating after 13 years.

This summer has to be a massive overhaul from the top of the organization on down.

They talk about culture, there needs to be a culture overhaul.

This can’t be Adams is back, Granato is back, we have switched an assistant coach.

There needs to be a complete overhaul of the philosophy and way they build the team.

New leadership on and off the ice.

If Pegula loves Adams then promote him to President and let him talk to Pegula all the time. Bring in a seasoned GM that has a vision and brings in a seasoned coaching staff that demands accountability.

Okposo, Girgs, Skinner need to go. Skinner will be tricky to move but find a way.

Sink some money into seasoned vets that can still contribute and add grit and leadership.

The most frustrating part is that the bones of a competitive team is here already. I just don’t trust Adams to add the right pieces to push it forward.

They need stability.    They're young and learning... you can't hit the reset button at this point.      If they were an older cap team with veterans, then sure, lets start the rebuild... but that's not the case here.     They spent the last 3-4 years drafting well, developing their core and a quality pipeline of young talent.

Beware the fury of a patient man.

Absolutely wrong thing to say in here 😂

If you remove the lense of "haven't made the playoffs in 12 years"... they're actually not far off from where they should be.      They had a strong second half last season, over-achieved IMHO.    A young over-confident group heading into 2023-24, mix in some key injuries and shaky goaltending early on, and the result really isn't that surprising.    This humbling experience should give them renewed motivation heading into 2024-25.

Tuch standing to the side screams that he is unwilling to me.  Watch on the PP, he stands in front but when the shot is about to be taken he drifts away and gives the goalie a clear view

god I miss Samson, not only would take a beating but his hand / eye coordination is exceptional

    Tuch sucks this year... underachiever.

With his skill set, he should be a 30g scorer at worst.

So, your actual defense is that you don't believe the woman who is writing about her experience at all? That is actually worse.

No, you are absolutely right ... believing a person's story is the worst thing we can do.

The combined IQ-lowering effect of these statements is staggering. I will say I am not accusing either of you of this directly, but these types of attitudes are exactly why women are afraid to come forward with claims of abuse - because they are afraid no one will believe them. Do better.

So if a woman accuses somebody of something we should all just blindly accept their account as fact and the accused have no right to defend themselves?

    Yikes!

FWIW, I 100% believe a bunch of bros "chased [her] around for the entire game post-hit" chripping. That's like the most plausible bro thing I can think of, other than one taking another run at her to really "teach her a lesson". Have you been around sports bros? (I'm asking in jest, I'm sure you have)

If I was trying to do something I enjoyed and a bunch of bros kept harassing me, I'd probably be driven to tears too. I aware of myself enough to know that. FWIW, I wouldn't have waited around after the game though, toxic bros gonna toxic and there's nothing that's going to break through that tough-guy shell to the fragile little child inside.

FWIW, I 100% believe a woman complained about chripping. That's like the most plausible woman thing I can think of, other than one filing a lawsuit to really "teach them a lesson".  Have you been around women? (I'm asking in jest, I'm sure you have)

"she must have done something to deserve [X,Y,Z}"  Boo, I say to you! Boo. That is hot garbage.

It's also "hot grabage" when an inflammatory piece comes out but only tells one side of the story.

I'm sure if the other team was asked about it they'd paint a different picture.... and the truth lies somewhere in-between.

If your wisdom led you to believe that you should comment on what is a naturally incendiary conversation without reading the article I'm not sure I would trust your wisdom in believing what you think happened.

You are giving them a pass.  Idiots can say anything because stupid is gonna stupid. But you don't tolerate it, you call it out and say that's not okay. I don't care how old anyone is.  If I can call out my father for his ignorance I can certainly call out a stranger.

Naive is pretending it should be accepted because someone grew up in a different era.

II I signed up to play in a women's league (hey it's 2024, why not!), do I have a right to get upset when they chirp me and tell me I don't belong out there?   I would be shocked if they didn't tho haha.    But what if I really like women's hockey and want to play at that level?   Isn't "hockey for everyone"?
