I thought I had changed it prior to the season, but must not have saved it. Just changed now...there is a maximum of 5 moves per week per team. There will be no other tweaks to the rules this season.

When is the draft?

Was on vacation last week ☀️ and have nothing to complain about right now, but about 930 tonight that might change. 😈

I went to see the Sabres in Vegas during their first season. The PA(Monster Truck Guy) announcer was so far over the top it was embarrassing. I have to believe even the home team fans find this clown annoying.

Putting Eakin, Caggiula, or Bjork in the lineup over R2, is a complete joke. Take a skill guy and make him your spare forward…sounds like another solid coaching hire.

I wish I shared your optimism, and maybe completely off base, but liking each other and trying hard only goes so far at the NHL level. I see a bottom 3 team. 😞

Who cares what John is doing. For all practical purposes, he is no longer a Sabre.

Contracts being handed out like candy. Two 41 point seasons(I know one was a shortened season) now gets you a long term 8mil per contract?

He is an NHL HC, and should have the team ready to go in all situations from Game 1 on. That is why he has assistant coaches. I smell the excuse generator cranking up already.

I don't see a way to do the draft order ahead of time. I am assuming that it will be revealed when the draft room opens(an hour ahead of time?). I have never been a commish on Yahoo league before, so sorry for the lack of specific info.

A top goalie? I’d settle for a mediocre goalie. Have you looked at who the Sabres are planning on going with between the pipes this season?

There is also this thing good GM’s do…it’s called “making trades”.

It wouldn’t bother me one bit if both JJP and Cozens are both sent down. This team is going to be bad…really bad.

Look at the goalie options on the Sabres, and tell me this isn’t a tank. 😉
