  1. I have been sick as a dog with a cold and a cough that has kept me from sleeping for two nights running. I am so sick(no pun intended) of laying around the house that I came into work for a few hours today. PS Cough is lingering, cold is pretty much gone.
  2. ...and the above mentioned snowblowers!
  3. My snowblower broke last Friday during the first big blast of snow here in WNY. All my neighbors(at least two houses down on each side and across the street) have snowblowers. You would think that at some point(between all the snow on Friday and Sunday) of me breaking my back, that one of them would have come out and at least taken care of the apron(we get dumped on really bad because the plow picks up the snow as it comes around 150 ft. curve where there are no driveways). To all my immediate neighbors who didn't bail me out except for one quick blast on Monday( I had to ask him while he was out doing his driveway), I got no help. I'm always out there with my snowblower ready to lend a hand if someone else is in a similar situation and was hoping for how a little common courtesy in return. What happened to the "City of Good Neighbors"?
  4. Can't skip a week and let frustrations build up for a whole extra week. I'm sure there are plenty of "things" to share, so fire away!
  5. Thank goodness Christmas is almost here. I need a distraction from the putrid play of the Bills and Sabres.
  6. Welcome back. Just in time for the holidays and a Friday night Sabres v. Leafs battle! Hope all is well!
  7. #1 To the idiots that put the styrofoam packing peanuts in their recycle bin and then let the wind blow them around the development, FU. By the way, I don't think they would even be considered as part of the acceptable recyclable products. #2 To the drivers who can't stop at stop signs, won't yield to traffic with the right of way and have to drive like they are at the Indy 500, WTF is your problem? WNY has short commutes times no matter where you are driving to, what is your f***ing hurry? #3 Now that gas prices are plummeting, how many of the companies who jacked up the prices of their products due to "the higher cost of oil" are now going to drop their prices to levels below where they were previously? <_<
  8. It really sucks that so many people are losing their jobs because of the economy and it is even a bigger kick in the nuts that it is happening around the holidays!
  9. I'm sure I'll be back late tonight with some complaint(s) from the several stops we have to make over the course of the day, but for now, two internet related ones... #1 Please stop with the animated graphics scrolling across the screen. #2 If I want to watch video on your website, I'll click on the play button. Stop the auto play!
  10. Give thanks and then find something to complain about!
  11. I think last nights game has taken its toll on everyone. :(
  12. I am really pissed that Portland has a great group of players, appears to be on the road to having a really good season and instead of being 60 miles to the west of Buffalo, they are in a place that WNY'ers wouldn't even consider driving to for a game, staying overnight and then coming home. FU Donner!
  13. How I overlooked this last week in the complaint thread is a huge error on my part(I posted this on TBD). A big FU to Time-Warner for still not coming to an agreement with the NFL Network. I sat down last Thursday without giving it much thought, flipped on ESPN expecting to see the game and realized right away that it was on the NFL Network. This week, key AFC East matchup which most people will not be able to see.
  14. Stick to your day job. :nana:
  15. My daughter is in 9th grade now and this has been a beef of mine for several years running. They are now longer teaching the basics, they teach to score well on the standardized exams. What a screwed up system.
  16. No bumper stickers on my car at all, let alone a political one...sorry! :)
  17. Thanks for staying on top of this. I hate when work gets in the way of my "hobbies".
  18. Complaint of the week! I don't think people even know what they are doing half the time(on their computer) and if so, should have their computers taken away from them. :wallbash:
  19. Not to mention the slug logo on the shoulder which also looks completely out of place on a jersey whose primary colors are red & black. <_<
  20. Beat up convertible. Made my Saturn look nice.
  21. As long as it gets me from point a to point b, I've never cared what I was driving.
  22. You are correct and like I said the car is older, but it doesn't change the fact that this dick probably does this several times a day regardless of being parked next to a Saturn or BMW.
  23. Disclaimer...I have a 2001 Saturn that has seen better days, BUT... I'm in a local plaza parking lot on Saturday listening to the radio prior to getting out of my car. A car pulls up alongside me(older man and women(60's), woman driving & man in the passenger seat). He opens the door and absolutely SLAMS it into my driver side door. When he sees me sitting there he starts laughing. I roll down my window and ask him "what the hell are you doing", he just starts to walk away and I yelled out "How about as soon as you get in the store, I slam my car door into yours a few times". At that point, they kept on walking probably thinking I'm ready to snap. What a piece of #%^$#! this guy was and if this had happened with a newer car, you can be damn sure I would have been asking for his insurance card. What pissed me off even more, is wondering how many times this jerkoff does this and nobody is in the car next to him. FU A**hole!
  24. Saturday wasn't too bad and I was there most of Monday, so I'll take 2 out of 4 days(arrived on Friday).
