I have probably asked this during free preview in past seasons, but is TWC the only provider where most of the games are not in HD? From what I can see, they have one dedicated channel to show the games in HD. The rest are standard def.

Sometimes it is not as easy being at the game, but it seemed like he was a turnover machine every time I noticed him, and in addition, he made an awful pass on the 3 on 1. Maybe it was just me.

...and for the poster who asked, yes, the Sabres did salute the fans after the game.

Just got home from the game... - Chet & Muffy were in mid-season form while player introductions were going on. Either that, or I'm not giving them enough credit, and the luke warm reception was a reaction to the lockout. - After hearing what some of the other teams were doing, I expected to walk into the arena and find out about some "fan appreciation" events. I can't believe there was nothing more than the discounted hot dog/chip combo. I'll go so far to say I was shocked. - Despite scoring the GWG, Myers may have been the worse Sabre on the ice not counting Ellis & Scott. - The shot Hodgson had from the slot in the 3rd period had me in awe. Not only was it a lightning quick release, but it was a hard and accurate shot. I also was impressed with Hodgson's skating. Not great, but not nearly as bad as some make it out to be. - As usual, the 300 level was freezing! - In game presentation was as lame as past years. At one point they had kiss cam going on at the same time they were doing a giveaway in the 300's where they pit one section against another. - I thought Ehrhoff was their best defenseman. - Except for the no look pass that led to a great scoring opportunity, and drawing a penalty, Grigs wasn't that noticeable, good or bad. - One of the escalators to the 300's was broke before the game, causing major gridlock. - I think Lindy would be wise to alternately dress Weber and Brennan until Gerbe is ready. Scott is useless, and I'd rather dress 7 blueliners, and keep them in game ready shape versus 2 minutes of Scott...unless we are playing the Bruins. - Damn it was cold walking down Washington St. to the game! - Despite the lack of points, I thought Ennis was one of the Sabres best forwards. GO SABRES!

I often look at how many seasons they have missed the playoffs. I didn't realize how bad their number of playoff series wins was over the last decade. WOW.

DR's number of seasons missing the playoffs speaks for itself in a league where half the teams make the playoffs. Not even worth debating. Terrible move. How about waiting until the summer?

- Millers cuts loose with a WTF wave on Sunday. - The Flyers go up 2-0 in the first period, and Lindy shuffles all the lines. - The anticipated Scott-Lucic fight doesn't happen, but Lucic will go with Ott at least once, maybe twice. - Enroth gets one start next week, gives up 6 goals, and doesn't see the ice the rest of the season. - I hit the alumni club 50/50 not once, but twice! - They drop those army parachute guys with the free stuff from the catwalks, and someone falls from the 300's trying to get one. - Kevin Sylvester loses his voice..forever. - Miller has a breakdown when Grigo walks on the logo in the locker room. Uncosolable. - Sabres sweep the Leafs. Leafs fans attending the games in Buffalo don't care. Great shopping at the Galleria, cheap beer at the game, sleep it off on the way home on the bus. - Actually predictions on how the seasons goes or individual players. Who knows?

I don't think Stoll is going anywhere, and he may be overpaid, but he is not "garbage".

Smoking hot body but those gaps in her teeth are driving me crazy! :D

I'm surprised about McNabb. I've seen more negative than positive reviews about his play this year.

I wonder how many AHL level forwards in Europe have an out clause in their contract, that if the Sabres offered enough money to get them to come back and finish out the season in Rochester, they would say yes. Alternatively, go out and acquire a AHL vet from another teams AHL roster. They could definitely use at least one veteran presence up front, and one on the blueline.

I'll repeat what I said in this thread or somewhere else recently... If McCormick has had an issue with one of his fingers that has been ongoing since last year, I question how much he is going to be dropping the gloves this season. Also, his play in general from 10-11 to 11-12 really tailed off.

I've gone on record many times about this, and agree with you 100%. Horton, Perreault & Hasek. No one else even close to consideration either former or current players.

If McCormick has been bothered by a finger problem since last season, I wonder how much willingness he will have to drop the gloves this year(or what's left of it).

At moments like this, it's nice to have season tickets! :)

Only time will tell. I guess the good thing is that he is not repeating last years numbers. That would definitely not be a good sign.

So it took Lindy and Darcy 25 games of sucking, getting put on the 4th line and the press box before they realized he wasn't "hot" anymore? Yeah people would have gone nuts if he was sent to the Amerks much earlier. <_< Good to know I can rev up my hatred for these two before even one game is played. :lol:
