Anyone been on a trip(preferably guided tour) to Italy? Looking to go in fall of 2025. Something focused around Rome-Florence-Venice. Never been to Europe. Since we are both in are mid 60’s, not looking for an itinerary that would wear us out after a couple of days. Would love to hear any and all thoughts regarding Italy, airfare, sightseeing, etc…. It is probably going to be one and done for Italy, as there are too many other great places, we would like to visit, before we get much older.

Never cared for Marek. He used to always bring up the most obscure historical tidbits about a given player or team. Just the way he talked…always came across as look at me, I’m smarter than everyone else. Maybe he has changed over the years. Been at least a few since I have heard him.

Recessed(very recessed) sewer manholes. I know in WNY they have to be slightly below grade because of the snowplows, but whenever a road gets repaved, the manholes are more like potholes.

NYS license plates. Disgusting. I have never seen another states plates that are falling apart(finish peeling off). Not sure of the root cause, but will aways be suspicious when the plates are made by Corcraft(NYS Prisoners). Then NYS says if you want the same plate number for a replacement, open your wallet. 🖕🏻

Someone needs to remind Pegula that you need to spend money to make money.

I realize traffic lights on two way roads can’t be 100% synchronized(like they could on a one way street), but you think more effort could be put into timing signals so that traffic on the busier of two roads that intersect, has the green light for greater amounts of time. 😡

The prospect I would have been most happy to jettison is Rosen, but if McLeod is an ideal solution at 3C, is Sabres property for at least 2 seasons, and can slide up to 2C when needed, then…. Savoie we hardly knew thee.

I’m not giving Adams a pass on improving the top 6 just because Ehlers or Necas wouldn’t commit to an extension. There are plenty of fish in the sea who aren’t rentals or have NTC/NMC, that would allow him to better the roster. It’s his job to identify said players and pull the trigger.

I don’t follow the Amerks closely. Are some of the vets being signed capable of dropping the gloves if liberties are being taken with the younglings?

In almost all cases the NCAA & Europe bound players are back with their teams before the prospects challenge occurs.

@JoeSchmoe didn’t say he wasn’t going to follow the team, he just said he was not going to buy tickets. I have already been “boycotting” spending a penny on the team for a couple of years now.
