I keep thinking back to that preseason game vs the Pens when Crosby (who had less to prove than anyone on any roster in the entire sport) instigated a fight. He wasn't content to lollygag and not give his best effort, unlike all our guys doing victory laps for accomplishing nothing and being lazy and out of shape. That's why he's Crosby and we are the biggest losers in hockey history.

He's not a superstar getting paid $14m, but for $7m+ (and we want to think that is a bargain), you need to expect Cozens to be able to carry lesser teammates, not be brought down by them.
VO isn't just "bad", he is a boat anchor who sucks down any line he plays on. There are very few players in the league who could carry a guy who is that bad.

ÂAppert even called out Rosen by name in his post game interview for his abysmal effort on the OT goal. He never calls out players by name in a negative way. That was surprising.Â
They organization is still too busy taking a victory lap over missing the playoffs by a point.

That was honestly one of the absolute worst sporting events I have ever attended. Only ones comparable:
Mets-Dodgers game 4 NLCS with Soscia hitting the game tying 3 run home run off Doc and killing my dream of going to the WS with my dad.
Bengals-Jets last game ever at Giants Stadium. Just about the coldest event I have ever been to, Bengals down 31-0 at the half and it was over.
Sabres-Leafs 2019. 500 Sabres fans tops at KBC. Enough said.
USMNT VS Costa Rica 2017 WCQ at RBA. Absolute disaster that set the stage for the unthinkable in Trinidad a month later.
Too many goddamned Metrostars/Red Bulls matches to even list.
