So I was wondering if Milbury and Lafontaine had some bad blood we are forgetting about. He went after him pretty hard for someone heading to the league office. -

Milbury very animated during intermission. Said PLF left because he did not want to trade Miller and Ott, -

This looks more like a siege than a hockey game. Is this game being played in San Antonio? -

These are some pretty telling graphics

I don't know other than he was a head coach; told to play a bunch of teenagers and lost his job in the regime change. All I am saying is it is NEVER in a coach's interest to not win games. It looks bad on the resume and eventually leads to the unemployment line. Sports is a business and it is based on competing. Not being competitive, leads to unhappy fans, a drop in ticket sales and a relentless pounding in the media. The easiest appeasement a team can make is to swap out the coach. It can't be lost on Nolan that he is replacing a guy that was sacrificed to the rebuild.
-
I disagree. Tell that to Ron Rolston that he would have job security with a roster full of teenagers. Coaches are the first thing that get fired. No way Ted Nolan has job security in a long rebuild. It just never works out that way. There is an adage I've seen in the NFL that says never draft a number one QB because you are drafting your successors QB. I think this holds true in a long rebuild too.

If you think we in the US have red/blue issues, you should see Ukraine. CNN has a chart that shows the state bifurcated into two groups, Pro-EU and Pro-Russia. This state could easily be split in two in the upcoming conflict. That's my guess what happens. Ukraine is about to become a whole lot smaller.

I don't know. Dressing a street goalie for an NHL game is kind of a low point.

one word.. fired
-
I can't see ANY coach signing up to a deliberate tank. Their job relies on success. They are the first to go. I do think that Ted is being used as a interim head coach to suffer through the rebuild and will be dropped in a New York minute for a gentleman in Binghampton. Pure, unadultered speculation on my part.
-
LOL... And slowly, but predictably the crowd begins to turn on Ted Nolan. So far the only one who can do no wrong, has done no wrong and has earned the blind faith of this board, is the least proven piece, Mr. Murray..

My feelings too. Once you are gone, you are gone.

I bet the NSA knows.

If the GOP runs Paul, they will get crushed. He's as charasmatic as a squash.

I need the distraction.

This has crossed my mind more than once since yesterday.

No, if it was as simple as Ted Black made it sound, Pat would have been at the press conference. When you are left with shovel brigade responsibilities and the source of the $hit is no where to be seen or heard from, it suspends believability. There were nuanced hints in what was said. It will take PLF to finally stand in front of a microphone to make this go away.
-
I'm pretty sure she will run unopposed...
-
I guess so. I don't like the prisoner look.
-
It all sounds plausible, until you think about the timing of it. That's the part that is hard to square. Sooner or later, Patty is going to need to explain this.
-
Black adamant that PLF resigned.
